Rumple's POV
Slowly, I start to wake up.
I sleepily opened my eyes a tiny bit.
A slim figure came into view, stood by the open window.
As my eyes focused, my heart skipped a beat.
It was Belle.
Wearing her short yellow nightie, her soft brown curls slightly waved in the warm summer breeze.
"Belle?" I said, not believing my eyes.
She didn't react.
I pulled back the covers.
"Darling Belle," I say out of breath just from seeing her.
Without a word, her head turned towards me.
Her eyes were cold and hard.
It looked like all the life had been sucked out of her.
"Oh my god Belle!" I say jumping out of bed.
Cautiously I walked over to her.
"How did you escape? Are you hurt? Oh Belle-" I tried to hug her, but she put her arms up defensively.
"Belle?" I gasped.
Why doesn't she want me to touch her?
"You left me Rumple."
Her expressionless face matched her expressionless tone.
"What..." I breathed heavily.
Her face grew angrier.
"Belle I-"
"Don't touch me!" She screamed, "You left me Rumplestiltskin!"
Rumplestiltskin? She never used my full name.
"Emma wanted to ma-"
"I don't want to here your excuses!! You're a coward...that's what you are and that's all you'll ever be!" She yelled, her cheeks reddening,
It breaks my heart when she's angry.
"Look please lets just sort this out, I missed you so much Belle, I love you!" I pleaded, raising my hands.
"You don't love me, you don't love anyone - you can't! I hate you Rumplestiltskin, I hate you, I hate you, I HATE YOU!"
Her screams made me wake with a start.
Drenched in sweat, I sat up as quickly as possible, scanning the room, out of breathe.
Belle was gone.
She was never here.
Just a dream....
A horrible, horrible dream.
