Chpt. 23: When He Meets Your Parents

-Slenderman:

"Oh, hello, dear. You must be (Y/N)'s boyfriend!" you heard your mom down the stairs. Frantically shrugging on your (Favorite Color) sequins dress, you quickly jumped into your black wedges and strutted downstairs.

"You look magnificent, (Y/N)," Slender complimented you, making your cheeks burn.

"T-Thank you," you muttered, oblivious to your blushing.

Dinner with Slender and your parents went flawless; Slender managed to impress your mom with his knowledge of fine dining & cooking, as well as your father of his properness.

"Well, I see that (Y/N) has a fine boyfriend. We approve," your dad flashed a big toothy smile, but you were mentally jumping for joy.

-Jeff the Killer:

"Nice to meet you, Mrs. and Mr. (Last Name)," Jeff politely introduced himself. You shifted your weight in your (Fave Color) dress and you saw Jeff blushing in embarrassment. You saw him awkwardly messing with his suit and tie that he managed to impress your parents with.

"The pleasure is all ours!" your mom exclaimed, holding her wine glass in the air. All 4 glasses clinked together in unison against each other, making you sigh in relief.

After dinner, Jeff excused himself out of the door, but before that your mom caught up to him.

"Don't feel so awkward around us, Jeffrey. We're an okay family when you get to know us all. You can continue seeing our daughter!" you heard your mom explain. Jeff sighed in relief, nodded, and retreated out of the front door.

"Hm, what a nice boy," your dad said to himself under his newspaper.

-Eyeless Jack:

Your mom and dad stared in horror at EJ, who's dressed in a tight fitted tuxedo. He looked presentable, yet his mask was still on.

"Umm, Jack dear, may you please remove the mask?" your mom slowly asked, as though she was frightened.

"I don't know if I should. I had a bad accident in the past, causing my eyes to be lost in the process," your parents didn't respond to EJ's summarization, and you all began eating in silence.

"So, Jack. What're you currently working as?" your dad asked.

"I'm studying in the medical field, learning about human anatomy in order to become a surgeon," EJ explained, half-truly. The lie impressed your dad, who flashed a large smile.

"Hands down, this man right here is husband material!" your dad exclaimed, causing the room to erupt in laughter.

-Laughing Jack:

"A clown?" your mom and dad repeated for what felt like 100 times. You mentally rolled your eyes as LJ was left in silence.

"At least he's making money" you combatted.

"Well, how much?" your dad pursued.

"Well, currently I work as a part-time clown, but I'm in a paid-internship in the (State University) university," LJ calmly replied. "So, that'll be about $30/hourly!"

"Shut up!" your dad exclaimed, totally impressed.

-BEN Drowned:

In the midst of dinner, everything went well. That is, until your clumsy mom spilled red wine onto your fancy (Fave Color) dress. You unsuccessfully tried blotting out the stain, but to no avail. You decided to wear a hoodie on top of the dress, for all of your other clothing needed washing.

"So, BEN, is there any particular reason why you feel that (Y/N) is your true wife?" your mom abruptly asked, oblivious to your existence.

"Mom!" you whined, feeling your cheeks burn in embarrassment.

"(Y/N) is the most spectacular, intelligent, and kind person that I've ever met. No ordinary girl can be compared to her." BEN said, making your cheeks turn into a flushed pink.

"He's a good one," you heard your mom whisper to your dad, who nodded. Your dad leaned over to BEN and whispered something to him. BEN got a horrified look and your dad just smiled in triumph.

"I approve".
