When Tobias and I arrive at the restaurant I nearly scold Tobias for bringing me here. This is an expensive place and everyone going in is well dressed. We would stand out like penguins in a rainforest.
"I can't go in there." I tell him.
"Why not?" He asks obviously hurt.
"It's too expensive." I say, trying to avoid the truth.
"I can pay."
"Tobias, I'm not allowed in there." I sigh.
"Why?"
"I'd rather not talk about it." I look away.
"Fine." Tobias's arm leaves my waist and he walks off, me following. Way to ruin the mood Tris!
~~~FLASHBACK~~~
"It will be fun." Meagan assures me. "We won't get caught!"
"I don't know." I stare up at the restaurant wall. This is my parents' favourite restaurant. It is so expensive and snooty I hate it!
After my fight with my parents and sleeping with Leighton, Meagan has decided that I can stay with her for a while until I clear things up with my parents.
"If you don't do it, I will. Trust me, you can let some anger go." She picks up a spray can and begins to spray pink onto the restaurant wall.
I pick up a can and look down at it as it torments me.
"Quickly! We have to hurry!" She snaps and I begin to spray blue across the wall.
Suddenly we hear a loud siren wail.
"Run!" Meagan screams and bolts. I try to follow but the police car has already cornered me, its bright beams locking my view.
One cuffs me and I try to kick him.
"What are you doing?" I demand.
"You have been arrested young lady. You're coming with us!"
