Bells and Shuriken Part 1

You sighed quietly as you reached the third training grounds. You were the first to arrive.

'Man...I'm already hungry.... I hope Sumire-sensei and Kakashi-sensei don't take too long to get here.' You thought as you felt your stomach rumble in hunger.

You then frowned deeply at the realization that Kakashi-sensei would most likely be late. He almost always was. You had come to learn that over the years.

You didn't know if Sumire-sensei would be late as well though. You assumed she would be though due to getting lost or something like that.

'I should have just stayed home and relaxed...' You thought glumly as you realized how late the two squad leaders would probably be.

Still frowning a bit at this you looked up at the sound of several approaching footsteps. Headed towards you was team 7 along with the rest of your team.

"How do you look so awake this early in the morning?" Sakura asked tiredly as she slowly made her way towards you.

"Yea (YN). You don't look tired at all, believe it." Naruto said sleepy as he trudged over to you.

"I'm use to being up early in the morning like this." You said nonchalantly with a small shrug before setting on the ground.

"Eh? Why do you get up so early?" Naruto said with a yawn while plopping down beside you on the dirt. He then sleepily leaned his head against your shoulder.

"I don't know...I guess it's because I have trouble staying asleep." You said while looking to Razan who had plopped down in the dirt a little ways from you and Naruto.

"I'm going to sleep a bit. Wake me up when our sensei gets here." Razan said while looking between you and Kurai before laying his head down on his arm.

"Will do." Kurai said answering for the both of you before he went to stand beside Sasuke and Sakura. As you watched Kurai walk over to said people you found your eyes drifting towards Sasuke.

He had a faint frown on his face and his eyes were narrowed as he stared down at you and Naruto.

'What's his problem? Did he wake up on the wrong side of the bed or something?' You thought in confusion as you continued to stare at Sasuke.

Seeming to sense your stare he moved his eyes to meet with yours. He held eye contact with you for a few moments before turning his attention elsewhere.

'That was weird.' You thought to yourself before glancing down to the blonde's head on your shoulder. His eyes were closed and soft snores occasionally escaped his lips.

You smiled a bit at the peaceful look on his face before carefully adjusting yourself so as to not wake the blonde. Once comfortable you began playing with a strand of your hair as you patiently wanted for the senseis.

Slowly hours of silence ticked by as you all waited for your squad leaders to show up. Finally, after what seemed like forever Kakashi-sensei and Sumire-sensei strutted into the training ground.

"Morning everybody. You all ready for your first day?" Kakashi-sensei asked as he and Sumire-sensei walked up to all of you.

"You're both late!" Naruto, Sakura, and Razan shouted in unison while quickly standing up.

"A black cat crossed my path so I had to take the long way." Kakashi-sensei said with a small shrug.

"And I just got a little lost. Good thing I found Kakashi or I might of been later." Sumire-sensei added while smiling sheepishly.
