That night, after giving Jack a lift home, dad and I went home. "So, how as school?" Dad asked.

"Average. But Rose was there and called me a lesbian," I said with a laugh.

"Bitch," He said simply, "Always has been, always will be."

"I know," I shrugged. "I guess I'm just to great for her to handle."

"By the way, how's Queenie?" He asked, "I mean, does she have a family?"

"Yeah, mom, dad and brother," I replied, "It's just creepy how similar we are."

"Yeah, Spanish, soccer. Does she like green?" Dad asked, jokingly.

"Actually, she does," I laughed.

"Y'know, I miss year old you," Dad said.

"I do and don't," I replied, "I was so weird back then."

"Yeah, but so am I," He shrugged.

"You're weirder though," I added.

"HEY!"

"It's true," I said, "You pranked Corey with cult."

"That's not weird, just pure genius!" Dad defended.

"It was pretty funny though," I laughed.

"That was the first time you called me 'Daddy' properly," He smirked.

"Of course you bring that up," I sighed.

"Why did you say that?" He asked.

"Honestly?" I asked.

"Honestly,"

"Well," I laughed a little, "You know I fell asleep. Well, when you woke me up, I completely forgot it as a prank so for a while, I thought it was real."

Dad just burst out laughing. "Really?!"

"Yes," I said, turning red and laughing too.

"That's amazing!" Dad said between laughter.

"I'm a stupid kid, I know, let's move on!" I moaned, laughing still.

"You still are a kid," He said, "No matter how old you are, you'll still be the same size as one anyway."

"Ok, no, don't bring my height into this!" I said, being half-serious.

"I am and I always will,"

"Dammit. How did we get here from 'How was school?'? Seriously?" I asked.

"Doesn't matter," He said, giving me a hug, "But you'll always be smaller than me, so I can technically always call you my little girl!"

"Great!" I cheered sarcastically, "I'll laugh so much if I end up being taller than you."

"You won't be, I'm not allowing you," Dad warned.

"It's not like I can help it," I defended.

"So what, you're not allowed to be taller than me," He repeated.

"It's not like I will be, anyway," I shrugged.

"You'd better not,"

"Taylor will be taller than me, I bet," I joked.

"I'd believe it," Dad said, laughing.

We continued on with the night and I did homework I'd got today. But as I read through the English homework, I groaned.

"Por el amor de Dios!"

"Are you swearing in Spanish?" Dad asked, looking at me.

"No, I just said 'for the love of God', Google translate if you don't believe me," I replied.
