Imagine letting Johnny stay the night at your house because of his parents.
"You okay Johnny?" you asked. You were both currently sitting on your bed, watching the TV on mute. Johnny seemed to be zoning out a lot tonight, ignoring you whenever you would call his name. You always worried about Johnny, you knew things back at home for him weren't all that great.
Sometimes you wish you could take him away from this place and just go wherever you like.
Sometimes you wish you two could just run away.
"I'm fine Y/N" he muttered. You let out a sigh at his response and took his hand in yours. He had his head hung low, it was like he refused to meet your gaze. A feeling of sadness washed over you as you watched your best friend look so vulnerable and scared. You lifted his chin up and made him meet your eyes.
"I'm here for you Johnny. You can stay as long as you like, I don't mind" you gave him a soft kind smile and he tried to give one in return. You wrapped your arms around him and brought him into a close hug.
You two stayed like that the entire night, just holding one another until the sun came up and you both passed out.
