Christian POV:
"This is your house!!!", said my mother in shock as Taylor opened the car door.
"Yes, it was a house I bought for my husband", I say.
"You're married!", she says in shock.
"Yes", I say.
"I'm so sorry I missed it, I can't wait to meet him", she says in excitement.
"I should rephrase that, this was a house I bought for my late husband", I say as her excitement turned into shock.
"Oh my child", she says as she hugs me tight.
She was so warm, so this is what a mother's embrace feels like, I never felt this when Miss Sparks hugged me, this woman, she was so light and so warm.
"Let's go, there are some people I'd like you to meet", I say as I lead her into the house.
"This place is beautiful", she says in awe.
"Welcome home", says my father as he came to us.
"What is this?", she asked as she shook his hand.
"This is my father, well foster father, Mr. Alexander Sparks", I say as I introduce her.
"It's nice to meet you ma'am", says my father.
"Ma'am makes me seem old", she says as he laughs.
"So that's your mother, I see the resemblance", says Anna.
"You do?", I see as I take a glass of champagne.
"Why do you look so bothered, you should be happy", says Anna confused.
"Michael", I say as I sigh as Josh joined us.
"Your mother is beautiful", says Josh as he smiled.
"Stop looking so down, he would have kicked you in the balls right now", says Anna.
