99. Gospel of Peace

It's me again God,

Clearly knowing where I stand with You is really important in my daily battle against the enemy. Thank You that Your Word is very clear when it comes to the Good News of the Gospel! We prepare for battle each day:

"...having strapped on YOUR FEET THE GOSPEL OF PEACE IN PREPARATION [to face the enemy with firm-footed stability and the readiness produced by the good news]." EPHESIANS‬ ‭6:15‬ ‭AMP‬‬

The Good News of Salvation through Jesus, brings us peace in all its many aspects —peace with You God, peace with others and world peace, all through the victory accomplished on the Cross!

Thank You that we can be thoroughly equipped to fight the enemy when we know the Good News, are sure of our salvation and remember these verses:

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him."   John‬ ‭3:16-17‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Thank You Lord for this great gift of eternal life through Jesus. Thank You that it was always Your plan to save us!

"for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished—".   Romans‬ ‭3:23-25‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Thank You Jesus for dying for me and that all I need to do is receive You by faith.

"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."   Romans‬ ‭5:8‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Thank You God for loving us so much, even while we were still lost in our sinfulness.

"If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved."
‭‭Romans‬ ‭10:9-10‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Thank You Lord for saving us! The enemy can't touch us as we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that You raised Him up from the dead!

"God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God."   2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:21‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Thank You that our sin was placed on Jesus, Your perfect Son. He bore our punishment so we could walk free! Because of Jesus' finished work on the Cross, we have become the righteousness of God.

"Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst."   1 Timothy‬ ‭1:15‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Thank You Lord for coming into the world to save me, even when I was at my worst!

"For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time."   1 Timothy‬ ‭2:5-6‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Thank You Jesus for being my mediator and giving Your life as a ransom for mine.

""He himself bore our sins" in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; "by his wounds you have been healed." For "you were like sheep going astray," but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls."
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭2:24-25‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Thank You Jesus for taking every single one of my sins when You died on the Cross. Thank You that through Your wounds, I am healed! Thank You that You are my Shepherd.

"For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit."   1 Peter‬ ‭3:18‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Thank You Jesus that You did all of this to bring me to the Father. Thank You that I can be so sure about this Good News and believe it. Thank You that I can now talk to You directly Father and pray in Jesus' precious Name,
