It's me again God,
I'm listening in this quiet hour of the morning. I want to hear Your voice, to just linger in Your presence and know that You are my God.
"My strength is found when I wait upon you. Watch over me, God, for you are my mountain fortress; you set me on high! The God of passionate love will meet with me. My God will empower me to rise in triumph over my foes."

Waiting is often seen as an imposition! People don't like to wait in queues, wait in traffic or wait for people to deliver items to their home or provide a particular service. Lord I know I need to be more patient in waiting, definitely more willing to wait on You. Your timing is perfect and my strength is found when I wait on You! Thank You that such strength received, leads to incredible joy!
"But as for me, your strength shall be my song of joy. At each and every sunrise, my lyrics of your love will fill the air! For you have been my glory-fortress, a stronghold in my day of distress. Thank You Lord that You love me so much that You allow me to wait for answers to prayer because You want what is best for me. Sometimes it's like waiting through the night for those first rays of warm sunlight to appear but when the breakthrough finally comes, it's more beautiful than I ever could have imagined!
Just being with someone I love doesn't always involve words. Sometimes it's enough to just sit together. As I sit here with You, like a bride with her bridegroom, I am filled with joy!

Thank You for reminding me again that I just need to enjoy being in Your presence and not worry about doing anything! This is an intimate time that we spend together and indeed it is a time when I am reminded that I am greatly loved! I will rejoice in You and be glad all the days of my life! I love You and trust You, so I am prepared to wait patiently for You. My ears are ready to listen to Your voice as You go on speaking to me today!
