My Runaway Bride

Chapter 21: Finale

Yui was exhausted. She couldn't believe it that Kou had just taken her to a demon strip club and gave her some funny drink.

She learned it as, tequila. Never again she will drink those stuff again.

She had been woken up with only four hours sleep. The three of them arrived late, very late and all hungover. Yuma and Azusa just finished organizing the whole wedding with the rest of the Sakamaki earlier than it planned.

Yui had to wake up early and prepare for her wedding. She wad half-asleep when they, the hairdressers, did her hair. She finally was able to go back to sleep when she was done with her hair. But soon woken up to do her make-up.

Now, she was in the parlor room. With her flowing dress and the bouquet ready on her hands, now she feels nervous. Umi, her long time friend, cheered her up saying everything will be fine. It turns out, Karl had to erase her memories as well at least until the plan was done. She was confused at first but she'll get over it.

Outisde the parlor, guests are coming in. The place was taken on Karl's castle with him as the officiant. As everyone is preparing for the wedding of the year, again, Ayato is also nervous.

"Nervous lil' brother?" Laito said as he stands next to him.

"Maybe, what if i was just dreaming?"

"This is real, and remember that you two confessed to each other and i'm happy that you finally got your girl." Ayato smiled sincerely at his brother. Now, the rest of the brothers joined in, standing next to Laito and in front. Turned out Sakamaki and Mukami brothers all wanted to be the best man.

Meanwhile, back at the parlor room, Yui was playing around with her mother's gift which was tied by a silver string around her neck. She was finally going to marry Ayato, she couldn't be more happier.

"Yui, it's time."

She got up, with the help of Umi. She walked out of the room, she felt even more nervous. She took a deep breath and let it out, nothing is going to ruin this day.

The wedding planer, all talking to the headset that was a communicator with the coordinators are present at the wedding. The planner stopped Yui for the other bridesmaid to walk first then Umi.

Looking back at her memories, she would never thought of getting married to a vampire, nor did she thought that all this time she was just human. She never thought of meeting her parents, and meeting the Mukami is  something she never thought will happen.

Maybe, crazy or not, Karl gave her the best wedding present ever. Even though it's insane.

Starting from Azusa, he may like to hurt himself but he doesn't want to hurt others and me especially. It is going to take time for him to stop his habits but hopefully he'll realize it himself.

Yuma had always a bit like Subaru. They both are tsundares. He can cooks well, even better than me. He's a great friend, and i wouldn't ask anything than a good friend like him

Kou always cheered me up whenever i was down. He took me somewhere fun and my energy just rose up whenever i was with him. But next time, i should tell him that i'm not comfortable going to pubs.

Ruki, he has been a very good friend. He took care thr other Mukami and me. He was a leader and a good one. Outside he may be strict, but he's kind and willing to help out anyone.

Subaru has been the best brother, he took care of me when i was sick. He's the easiest person to ask a favor because he kept his promise. But he can be a bit overprotective.

Laito will always be the best pervert person anyone could ask. He flirts a lot and he taught me how to play the piano. He has a really great fashion sense, he's a good listener.

Kanato may loves to play dolls and still toyed with his Teddy, but he is sincere enough to let me accompany him. He really knows which place serves the best tea. After school, he would take me to a great cake store, giving me compliments after my achievements.

Ayato, he has been a great guy any girl would have asked for. He takes care of me when i was sad and when i needed the support most. He cares about me and when i heard whay he did, i couldn't help but smile. He wrecks the place yes, but i think he was just being himself. The best guy, and i'm happy that we will be spending the time together forever.

Reiji has been the big brother role model. He's the perfect brother, and he knows everything. He helps my studies and i get to practise my manners when Karl would hold any parties. He likes to listen about my opinions and usually comments to it.

Shu has been the laziest. Hr knows violin and he wants me to learn it. He would be the first brother i would reach because he's calm, he doesn't act thoughtlessly, he would think. He knows that i was in a bad mood and knows how to fix it. He may not like Reiji, but i know both of them still love each other.

Looking at those past times, a tear nearly dropped from my eye. No times for crying because i want to cherish this moment.

I looked at Ayato's eyes and he looked into me. Being a runaway bride may cause a riot at first, but somehow it brought us closer than ever.

He took my hand, led me next to him. He whispered to my ear,

"You look beautiful." I couldn't help but smiled. Hearing Karl said his words and us making our vows of everlasting love, this has been what i wanted to say the moment i entered the aisle,

"I do."

With that, we shared our kiss.

After that, the sun outside shone brightly. Before we depart to the reception, we took pictures of us together and our family. I could see the Sakamaki and Mukami brothers are trying to get a picture next to me, but i don't mind. They were arguing, but they decided to end it quick because the reception. They wanted tk have a dance with me. Ayato took his place next to mine, holding my waist. He said his words to my ear,

"I'm never letting go of you ever again."

I guess, it's the perfect way of saying a happy ending for me.
