Y/n's pov
I yawn and stretch from the bed of a random lodge we'd stayed it was me and Lafayette first time sleeping in the same bed
Don't get me wrong I'm ready to take it further but I'm not sure about Lafayette like how will he react ya know?
I mean I don't want to scare him away , I think I love him to much
"Laffy" I poke him in the side
He groans and shifts over a bit
"Laffy I'm going back to base don't come to soon after me the others will get suspicious" I say slipping out of the bed and putting my shoes on
I rustle my hair up a bit so it doesn't look to bad

I walk out onto the bustling streets and catch a carriage back to base
It was loud just how I liked it
I pay the driver and walk into the base the ground was a little slippy must have rained last night
I walk into the tent a small bit of hang over sticking around in my mouth
The only person in the tent was Alex
"Where were you last night?" Alex says still writing his quill moving quietly over the paper
"That's your concern because " I ask rolling over in bed to look at him
"Your my sister in a world like this, I have every right to be worried " Alex says putting his quill down to look at me
"I went out for a drink with Lafayette and then went to a lodge nothing happend we did not bang or anything like that " I say rolling my eyes at Alex's over protectiveness
"Alright then " Alex says standing up to leave the room
"Alex before you go , tell Mulligan I'll were a suit. " Alex nods his head and turns " and Alex ... I'm A Strong Woman In A Weak Man's World" I smile warmly and turn back over in bed
The last thing I hear as I drift if to sleep is "Doesn't mean I don't worry about you" coming from Alex as he leaves the tent
Okay I know this is short but I've selected all of my book chapters and I'm writing the chapters of each one one at a time
And I know it's a bit of a filler chapter , I'm I'm sorry the next chapters going to be much more interesting
