chapter 17. Angry Gremlin

Hey look I apologize for this but I'm on a cadet camp and any access to WiFi will be limited

Alex's pov

I'd stepped outside for a breath of fresh for just a single moment to see

Little Y/n, my baby sister (even by 19 seconds) kissing Lafayette, a friend, a man I've though with for years

How he could do this I don't know but it's angered me, in the morning he's going to have hell to pay

In my opinion I should have had this done on the last chapter 😂 but oh well

Lafayette pov

After me and Y/n kissed I didn't remember much more about the dance, I remember her telling me why she was upset and at first she was scared about what I'd say, but at this point.... We all knew about John and Alex

The next part after that was the image of me and Y/n getting absolutely shit faced drunk

Which was fun, but at some point during the night we ended up back in the tent and we fell asleep

Me and Y/n may have possibly fallen asleep cuddling on the same bed

Don't worry we were fully clothed.

It's sort of good we were or else it would have made it worse between me and Alex.

Y/n's pov

The first thing I realise is that I have no idea what happened the night before

But all I know right know is that there is a cold patch next to me which means Lafayette is no longer cuddling me

Which makes me sad

I groan and try feel if maybe Lafayette has moved away from me but no so luck

"From the sound of it your brother is about to tear Lafayette to pieces " I hear a familiar deep voice say

I groan and open my eyes to see the orange have risen sun peeking through the now open tent flaps

I sit up my head pounding from the amount of booze drank last night.

"What do you mean Mulligan?" I ask swinging my legs of the bed my vision still blurry and my head dizzy

"Let's just say your brother saw you and Lafayette last night" Mulligan sits sewing a patch onto a jacket

"Fuck why didn't you wake me up sooner" I shout grabbing my jacket of the floor where it had been discarded

For some reason when I stepped outside my vision was flooded with more light then usual for this time in the morning.

I'll deal with that later though

"What the fuck where you thinking last night" I hear an angry voice whisper shout

"Alex Mon ami-" Lafayette begins to speak

"Do not Mon Amie me, I watched you and my sister kiss last night?! How long has this been going on?!" Alex begins to speak his voice getting increasingly louder as he steps towards Lafayette

Even though my brother is 5'7 and Lafayette is about 6' my brother is still managing to scare Lafayette and that scares me

"Look it's only been going on for a couple months" Lafayette puts his hands up at my brother

"A couple months?!? Who else knew about this?!" My brother begins to fine not even bothering to care about how loud his voice is

"John, Mulligan and Washington. But if you wanted to know you could have just asked me instead of just getting other people to watch me for you" I shout walking towards my brother

I looked around and realised that with being so loud we'd brought a few soldiers out of there tents

" You're my sister and your dating my best friend, which I've only just found out about. Don't you think you could have, I don't know, maybe fucking told me?!?" My brother is no longer walking towards Lafayette he's just stood in front of him but facing me

"Alexander, Lafayette and M/n report to my tent immediately " A booming voice behind me shouts

My entire body freezes as more and more people come outside to see what all the shouting is about, it's then that I see Charles Lee another soldier lean over and whisper into someone else I didn't recognise's ear

Charles Lee smirked at me, I'd blocked everything else out and I was just focusing on Lee at this point

He mimicked something, a hand over his eye....

Suddenly I realised why it was so bright....

My eye patch wasn't on....

I quickly cover my eye and turn back to Washington trying to ignore the brining stares and giggles coming from Lee

"Go on what are you all stood around for? Haven't you got work to get on with?" Washington bellows out and the crowd disperses almost instantly

I spent like 5 minute on Google trying to spell "disperses"

Slowly I begin to follow Washington towards his tent

Alex's face has gone from anger to...... Sadness?

Omfg I'm so glad I managed to get this written before I left for camp

Anyway can I give a big shout-out to RavenPuff2018 and FMS666 2 of my very good friends whose birthday it is today

Other then that not much to say apart form I should be on and off today and from now till Friday
