Date night

Anna (POV)

One month has gone by and my things had moved into unc..I mean Aidan's room that next day. Who knew he was serious.

Linda was happy for me and for him. She told me she never liked Megan thought he could've done better. It's like Linda and I are twins. I was thinking the exact same thing.

And now he has me.

Usually when he had gone to work, I would rarely see him but now he comes home just in time for dinner and would leave when the sun just rises. I think he changed his schedule.

When I had asked him why, his reason is because he wants to come home to see me rather then see the same boring people at the office.

Not like that never happened because he spent most of his days in the office before.

The days have been good, he has been good.

Today Aidan has promised to take me out on a date. My first date with him. Can't you feel the excitement.

Looking at the shower head with a scrubber in my hand. I had begun scrubbing. This has become a habit. I'd scrub so hard till my skin actually tears. I don't know why, but I could still feel his touches. It was rough as I remembered it.

"Anna." Opening the door I heard Aidan calling for me. "Anna!" He gently opened the shower door only to gaze at me, his expression soft. "Why didn't you wait for me?"

"I wanted to be ready before you got home." Aidan has never let me taken a bath alone and I could see why. It's the memories that had haunted me.

Sure I had still gotten the nightmares but only when I sleep alone, but if Aidan has his arms around me the nightmares don't even come. It's like feeling safe with him. Feeling protected.

Taking my arm he rubbed it with his fingers. "You're hurting yourself again."

"Correction I'm cleaning myself." I smiled.

Shaking his head, he had removed his clothes before joining me. "Why are you home early?"

"So I can join you in the shower." He smirked.

Ever since he had caught me that first time showering, he not once let me shower alone. If he has to shower at 5 am in the morning, he'd wake me up so that I'm in there with him. It was sweet the first few days but now he treats me like a child which can get annoying.

"What's with that look." He began to shampoo my hair. My chin on his chest closing my eyes just enjoying this moment. His fingers massaging my scalp. Did I say annoying. this feels awesome. His fingers are like magic that I had moaned. "Well somebody feels good today."

Opening my eyes, I saw his eyes look down on me, while I had wrapped my arms around him. His chisel abs, sharp jaw line and that rugged look I just love.

Never in a million years I would have found a man you only read in books. Who ever said romance is dead probably had killed his lover or something.

After our fun filled shower, we were now dressed. Well Aidan had taken ten minutes to dress while I had taken that amount of time to even pick out a dress.

Heading down stairs Aidan turned to me with a wide eye expression. "You look absolute breath taking." He smiled.

This made my heart jump, "And you, not bad for an old man."

Chuckling he led me to the car where we were having dinner.

The ambiance was nice and relaxing. This wasn't his normal restaurant where he had taken all his other dates. The background had this huge aquarium which I had admire.
