Pain comes in many forms. It can sting, twinge or hurt like a bitch. People react differently to pain. Some people can handle pain without even flinching. Some people cry at a splinter. Some people can't even feel pain. Me? I wasn't a complete baby. I didn't cry and whine at everything that hurt. I had taken many a punch before. Always getting into fights. Injuries hurt but it was bearable. I never cried or complained too much. But this pain? I didn't think anyone could handle this pain. I did not feel ashamed to cry out, to scream for death to come, for someone to kill me. The pain kept me awake and wouldn't let me drown in darkness for long like I so wanted it to. The worst bit about the pain was the increase. It spread like wildfire. I was being burnt alive. It spread to every inch of me. To the top of the head to the tips of my fingers and toes. The pain was everywhere. I couldn't hear anything anymore and I couldn't open my eyes to look. I was in too much pain. Nothing helped. Nothing could make me forget the pain. Why wouldn't Cordelio kill me already? Why? Kill me... Please...
