Yoongi and Monet had shared stories about their mom and dad for the rest of the afternoon. It had been a long time since Yoongi had talked about his father and oddly enough it didn't hurt as much as he thought it would have. Monet understood his pain and the void his father had left behind, she had been through the same pain after all.

Around 6pm Yannie came walking in the living room. "It's your turn to cook tonight Yoongi, you better get started!" Yannie commanded with a strict look. "Uhh, I don't really cook," he replied hestitantly. "Neither did Minsu and Ji-Ho, you will just have to learn it, we have a recipe book in the kitchen."

Yoongi was kind of suprised by Yannie's harsh tone, apparently she wasn't always Mrs. Sunshine. It seemed like he didn't have a choice. "I'll help you," Monet offered. Thank god for Monet, but his hopes were quickly crushed. "That won't be possible I'm afraid, Monet you had promised me you would water the garden," Yannie reminded her.

Monet sighed deeply and shot him an apologetic look. "Sorry Yoongs, I'll help you next time." Well there went my last resort, I was really going to have to do this all by myself because Minsu was still out with some of his friends.

He found the recipe for the meal Yannie had ordered him to cook and was reading through all the steps with his hands in his hair. How in god's name was he ever going to make this without burning down the house?

Half way through following the steps he kind of felt like he was getting the hang of it. There three pans on the stove and he was looking through the cabinets trying to find some spices to add. For some reason he wasn't able to find them.

When he finally gave up and turned back around to the stove he saw thay the contents of one of the pans were on fire. In a reflex he ran to the sink and filled a glass of water which threw over the fire in order to stop it. A big explosion of flames made him fall back, shielding his face with his arms.

Apparently he had let out a scream in the process because Yannie came running into the kitchen with a worried look on her face. It only took her a few seconds to process what was going on before she started fixing the situation.

She grabbed a lid from one of the cabinets and carefully put it on the pan that was on fire. Next thing she opened a window to let out all the smoke that had gathered in the room. Then she walked over to Yoongi.

"Are you okay Yoongi? Let me see your arms," Yannie's voice sounded concerned. Suddenly he felt a burning pain, he was too caught up in what was happening to realise he had burned his arms.

"You're lucky they are just first degree burns. Has no one ever told you to never put out a fire with water when there is oil involved," she scolded, but Yoongi could see in her eyes that she was more concerned than mad.

She bandaged his arms carefully and when she was finished she stood up and took a look at what was left from dinner. "I think we better order some pizza," she said with her usual smile back on her face. Yoongi nodded feeling a bit guilty about the whole situation.

Nobody seemed to mind that he had ruined dinner, apparently they didn't eat much fast food around here. Seeing Minsu chuck down his pizza like he hadn't eaten in days made him chuckle.

"Hey Yoongi, you can cook more often," Minsu muttered with his mouth still stuffed with pizza. Yannie shot him a warning glance, making Minsu swallow his pizza before continueing. "Not that I want you to burn yourself every time of course, but I could definetely get used to eating more pizza," he grinned.

After dinner he, Minsu and Monet just decided to hang in the living room. Monet connected her phone to the stereo and a song started playing he had never heard before. "What's the name of this song?" he asked.

But his attention shifted towards his phone when he heard the sound of an incoming text. He quickly took it out of his pocket and completely forgot to listen to Monet's answer. He smiled when he saw who the text was from and immediately opened it.

Apparently he had been grinning while texting Jimin because Minsu started laughing at him. "Hey loverboy, who are you texting that has got you so whipped?" Yoongi felt his cheeks heat up. He looked over at Monet, for a second he thought he saw a flash of jealousy in her eyes but it disappeared again instantly.

"Come on, spill it! We want all the details. Nothing juicy ever happens here in this shit town," Minsu insisted while moved a little closer to him and rested his head in his hands staring at him expectantly.

Monet seemed much less interested in finding out who had texted him, but she hid her emotions well so he couldn't figure out what she was thinking.

"Uh, it was my boyfriend. He texted me to ask if he and our friends could come over friday," he finally revealed. "Wait? You have a BOYFRIEND?" Minsu blurted out looking at him with big eyes. "Yeah," he replied sheepishly.

"I mean, not that I have a problem with you dating a guy, I was just suprised. I didn't expect you to be gay," Minsu added quickly, looking a bit uneasy. "Not every gay man looks like they are coming straight from the gay parade Minsu," Monet spat out.

She turned over at Yoongi and her expression softened. "I think it's great that you have a boyfriend Yoongs. I can't wait to meet him." She smiled at him but it didn't reach her eyes. "It's okay Minsu, I get it," he reassured.

"Okay, but you have to tell me everything! Like how did you meet? What does he look like? Did you guys have sex yet?" Minsu rattled resulting in a punch from Monet. "You can't just ask if someone had sex!"

"Haha, it's fine Monet, I'll tell you everything," Yoongi laughed.

Hello guys, so what did you think of me adding that text? I thought it would make reading the text messages more fun. Should I add those more or nah? Please be honest!
