Chapter 18: Snow White

I slowly breathed as I felt the coldness seep into my body. Cringing, I lightly rubbed my hands on my arms. 

Staring outside, I noticed that the weather was sure going to be down in the drains this entire week, considering the forecast saying that it will rain. 

And I was sure that whatever Jason and the others were planning, would have to be held back for this entire week until the weather cleared up. Would it be rude if I was a bit happy that this surprise was held off? I was never really the party girl, I always liked to curl in the sofa, reading then getting drunk and having fun in a way.

So far, I was sure that everyone thinks that I am a nerd and maybe a loner, but hey! What can I do you know. I just love to be alone and be in the comfort of my house, but I did promise to Lexi and Amanda that I would live a little, so I guess whatever they tell me to do, I will do it... well not everything like skinny dipping. Not really my style. 

"Hey." Jake's voice said out to me. 

Spinning around, I stared at him, my eyes were a bit wide. I looked down and had a soft smile on my face. "Hi." I said softly. 

He looked pretty surprised that I would answer back to him, I turned around and faced the window, once again staring outside. I heard his footsteps coming closer to me, and then his body heat was hitting the side of my body. 

I began to tense up, not from the heat. But from the shock that was clearly in the air. "Do you feel that?" he asked lowly. 

I nodded my head, words could not be formed properly right now. I coughed after a while and brushed some of my hair behind my ears. From the corner of my eyes, I could see that Jake was watching me. 

"So what are you up to today?" he asked, trying to make conversation. 

Turning to look at him, I smiled and simply shrugged. "No clue, but since the weather is going to be poop, I was simply just thinking about watching movies." 

He nodded his head and looked ahead. "okay..." 

I knew that he wanted to join me, and knowing me I did not want to have any hardfeelings before I leave this place. "Do you want to join me later?" I asked softly. 

He snapped his head at me and nodded, a bright smile on his face. "I would love too." 

I smiled and nodded my head in reply. "What movie do you want to watch?" I asked him. 

He sctratched his head, "I can watch anything, you can choose since you wanted to watch movies." 

I laughed softly and stared at the ground before lookng up once more to see that his eyes were on me once again. His actions really brought me warmth, warmth that made my heart flutter and cause my stomach to over fill with fluttering butterflies. 

"I can watch anything, so it does not matter to me what we watch." I said. "So you can decide, I am up for anything." 

He once again sctratched his head, which made my hands itch to do that for him. It must be the mate bond, I thought as I watched him carefully. Though even if it wasn't the mate bond, then I would not know what I should do then. Probably jump him? Gosh my mind is going crazy now. 

"Okay... how about we watch Frozen?" he said. 

I started to laugh, and then Jake joined in as well, after our laughing fit, I wiped the corners of my eyes. With a smile on my face, I turned around and leaned my back against the window, so I was facing Jake. 

Staring at him, my eyes soften and so did my heart, even though the moment that he came over and talked to me, it had already soften without me knowing. I stared into his eyes, to see that his eyes were also soft.
