I fainted.

I don't know what happened.

One minute, I was helping mom make cookies.

Then, as if in the far distance, I dropped the cookie tray I was holding.

I vaguely heard my mom shriek before I black out.

I woke up in the hospital with the doctor checking my temperature and writing things down on his notepad.

The doctor told me that my transplant site had been irritated somehow, that it got a little infected.

"Your body is weak," the doctor warned me. "The slightest infection can be fatal. Did you do anything yesterday or today that may have irritated the stitches?"

"No," I lied.

"Be careful," the doctor said before leaving me.

The hike.

It must have been the reason for the infection.

But you know what? I didn't regret the hike.

It was worth it, seeing your smile.

Seeing the light in your eyes.

The little chuckles you let out every now and then.

I didn't regret anything, Park Jimin.
