"I never thought you'd be the one to tell a girl you love them on a dirty carpet while eating takeout. My hair is all greasy too." I mumble as I chomp on my noodles.

"I still think you're beautiful." He says putting his food down and giving me a dimpled smile. He reaches out to hold my face and I smile in content.

"We have to finish your project." I whisper as I slowly look up into his eyes. "When is it due?" I ask him.

"Mr.Davidson said mine is due tomorrow morning. He hates me so much I swear." He groans, rolling his eyes.

"I can't wait till he retires. He just sits around and eats. Don't know why my dad hasn't fired him yet." I shrug standing up to grab some germ x.

"Shit. I have to get home. I need to check if Calum took his medication." Ashton says standing just as I turn to look at him.

"And you're project?" I ask helping him throw the boxes in the trash bag. "I'll finish it at home."

"I can stay over and help you finish it." I offer tying the bag. "I'm capable of finishing it." He groans. "My boss's daughter shouldn't be helping me."

"I don—"

"You don't mind but I do. I got it." He says with a clipped tone.

"Uhm Okay. I'll take you home?" I ask grabbing my bag and car keys. "I can get a taxi." He mumbles.

"Are you okay?" I ask lifting a brow and giving him a look. "Sorry. I just remembered Calum didn't pay his part of the rent and I have to pick up an extra shift at the pizza place before the boss fires me. I've been spending all my time here. Just stressed and overwhelmed. Let's go?" He asks opening his office door for me.

"You can ask me for help when you want. You know I'm willing to help."

"You're too kind, my love."
