Mepo likes to have Emily sitting in a highchair because then she is at the same eye level as they are while she is eating.

"Do you have any cups with lids on them? Margaret tends to spill her drink if she gets too excited," Quigor says.

"Drink! Emily Margaret drink!" Margaret interrupts.

"No, I don't have any cups like that. You'll have to help her hold her cup," Mepo says, looking at Margaret.

Since there is only one highchair, Quigor holds Margaret in their lap as they sit in one of Mepo's chairs.

Mepo pours the drinks for the pets. They hand Emily a glass and hand Quigor a glass for Margaret.

Quigor helps Margaret drink so she doesn't spill her lemonade.

"Would you like anything to drink, Quigor?" Mepo asks.

"Yes, please. I have some sidini juice. Would you like some of that?" Mepo asks.

"Sure, that would be delightful," Quigor replies.

Mepo gets the sidini juice and pours some for themselves and Quigor.

Margaret has already finished her glass of lemonade. "Play!" She cries.

" Margaret is finished drinking already. Is Emily finished too?"

"Yes, I believe she is," Mepo says, handing Quigor their drink. Mepo carefully picks Emily up out of her highchair and carries her to her cage, carefully placing her inside.

"Margaret come play Emily?" Emily asks her owner.

    "Yes, Emily," Mepo says.

Mepo returns to the table with Quigor.

"You can put her with Emily anytime you'd like," Mepo says to Quigor.

"I'd better take her to the bathroom first," Quigor says.

"Emily has her bathroom right in her cage. She can use that one," Mepo says.

"Alright, then. Thank you," Quigor says, gently carrying Margaret over to Emily's cage and placing her inside. They make sure the cage door is locked so Margaret won't be able to escape and roam Mepo's house.

Margaret runs up to Emily excitedly. "Do you want to go to the beach with me?" She asks.

"Sure, I'd love to. Do you know how ask our owners?" Emily asks.

"I drew a picture of the beach at home but my owner wouldn't let me bring it," says Margaret.

"Let's draw a new picture. Plus, I can try to explain to my owner," Emily says, getting her paper and colored pencils for her and Margaret to use. The girls work hard on their drawing of the beach.

Quigor and Mepo talk to each other about the pets in Mepo's living room outside of the cage.

"Margaret tried to run away from you?" Mepo asks.

"She went outside without my permission and got lost. Fortunately, a family found her and contacted me," Quigor says.

"Why would she do a thing like that?" Mepo asks.

"She doesn't understand that she can't go exploring by herself. She's very curious. She has a very hard time controlling herself when she wants something. She can't control her emotions very well. I'm still trying to train her and to teach her the rules," Quigor explains.
