Margaret dresses by herself in the morning, picking out her own outfit and brushing her own hair. She goes to the bathroom and walks to the dining room.
"Lunch!" Margaret calls to her owner.
"Breakfast, Margaret. Good girl, Margaret!" Quigor says, carefully placing the pet in her highchair. They are very impressed that she picked out her own outfit by herself and got ready for the day on her own.
Quigor feeds Margaret waffles for breakfast with orange juice to drink. Quigor eats petal cakes for breakfast.
After breakfast Quigor carries Margaret to the bathroom and then puts her collar and Ieash on her.
A few minutes later they arrived at a strange building Margaret has never seen before. Quigor gently carries Margaret into the building where they meet a strange alien that Margaret is frightened of.
Margaret refuses to let go of her owner when they try to hand her to the unfamiliar alien. Quigor is unsure of what to do with her. They don't want to risk hurting her fingers.
"You say she likes to play with pet human pony blocks? I'll get some for her and show them to her. Then she should be more willing to let me hold her," the strange alien says.
Quigor holds Margaret while the Pet Human Trainer gets a handful of pony blocks to hold. Quigor met the Pet Human Trainer yesterday while Margaret was with Azzeela. This alien's name is Teg.
Quigor shows Margaret while Teg holds a handful of pony blocks out to her.
Margaret looks at the pony blocks eagerly, forgetting all about her fear of the stranger.
"Play!" Margaret cries.
Quigor carefully hands Margaret to Teg. Margaret grabs excitedly for the pony blocks. Teg allows Margaret to hold the pony blocks while they speak to Quigor.
"So Margaret went for a walk without telling you. This is not safe. Does she know how to ask to go for a walk?" Teg asks.
"No, she doesn't," Quigor answers.
"Maybe we'll begin with that then, since she already knows a few simple commands. I will teach her the phrase 'walk please.' How does that sound?" Teg suggests.
"Excellent. Let's begin," Quigor replies.
Teg takes the pony blocks away from Margaret.
"Play!" Margaret cries.
"No play," Teg says firmly. Teg carefully sets the human down on the floor.
"Margaret, walk please," Teg commands, gently pulling Margaret towards the door on her leash.
Margaret wonders where they are going already, since they just got here. She curiously follows the alien outside.
"Good walk Margaret!" Teg says, handing her leash to Quigor. They walk around the block and then back into the Pet Human Training Center.
"Good walk Margaret!" Teg says, handing Margaret a toy pony.
Margaret happily holds the toy pony, deciding she likes the new alien.
"Does she understand what the word 'walk' means now?" Quigor asks.
"I think so. We'll test her later. I want to try something," Teg says.
Teg takes away Margaret's toy pony and commands her to stay.
