Lily was standing in the middle of a crowd. Tina had dragged her to the City's Bank to watch as Lou Barebone went around telling people to be careful of the existence of wizards.

Lily was pretty much scoffing at everything that woman said. She now understood why Tina hated her so much.

"This great city sparkles with the jewels of mans invention!"The woman yelled. "Movie theaters, automobiles, the wireless, electric lights. All dazzle and bewitch us!" As she listened, she felt someone bump against her shoulder, almost making her fall forward.

"So, sorry," the man said. He was British, that's for sure.

"That's quite alright," she answered with a smile as he walked past her.

"But where there is light there is shadow, friend. Something is stalking our city, wreaking destruction and then disappearing without a trace. Listen to me. We have to fight, join us, the Second Salemers, in our fight!" The woman kept going when another person bumped into her shoulder.

"Excuse me, doll," the short man said. "Just trying to get to the bank." Lily wondered why these men were going through the crowd to get to the bank when they could just go around it, but smiled at the man either way.

"It's alright."

"Excuse me, just trying to-" the man continued but he tripped on the first man's case and fell to the ground. Lily Immediately came forward and helped him up.

"I'm so sorry," the British man said. "My case," he explained himself, always looking at the ground.

"No harm done," the mister said, as he got up and shot the two a smile before he kept walking to the bank.

"You!" Lou said, pointing her mitten covered hand at the Britishman with the case standing next to Lily. "Friend! What drew you to our meeting today?"

"Oh, I was just passing by," the man stuttered. He was obviously not comfortable speaking in front of a crowd.

"Are you a seeker? A seeker after the truth?" Liky immediatly thought of a hundred quidditch pun she could make, but decided against it. Nevertheless, the man seemed to have thought of them too.

"I'm more of a chaser, really," he tried. Lily snorted and looked back at Tina, wondering if she had been hearing this. She obviously had, seeing the worried look on her face.

Lily felt something strange brush against her leg and looked down just in time to see a nifler running away form thematically and up the stairs. She wondered how had no one seen it as it stopped next to a beggar and stole the one shiny coin the man had.

"Hear my words and heed my warning. And laugh if you dare. Witches live among us! We have to fight together for the sake of our children, for the sake of tomorrow!" The crazy woman continued. Lily grabbed the sleeve of the man's blue coat and pulled on it, getting his attention.

"Mister, I'm afraid your niffler is on the loose," she whispered to him, subtly pointing at the stairs. The muffler caught them staring at him and slowly grabbed the beggar's hat, pulling it behind the pillar to hide.

"What do you say to that, friend?" Lou asked Newt. His eyes were shifting between her and the niffler, who was now pretending they hadn't seen him. Once the nifler caught them looking at him again, he took all of the man's coins and ran inside the bank.

"Excuse me," the blue coated man said, running inside the bank. Lily was following him close behind.
