"The job ain't that glamorous," Queenie proceeded to say. "I mean, I spend most days making coffee, unjinxing the john. Tinas the career girl." Jacob was about to ask something, but before he could, Queenie had already answered his question. "Nah. Were orphans. Ma and Pa died of dragon pox when we were kids. You're sweet. But we got each other!"

"Could you stop reading my mind for a second?" Jacob asked her. During this whole conversation, Newt, Tina and Lily had simply reminded silent. Queenie looked down for a second, before Jacob spoke up again. "Don't get me wrong, I love it. This meal, it's insanely good! This is what I do, I'm a cook. And this is, like, the greatest meal I have ever had in my life." Queenie soon was smiling again.

"Oh, you slay me!" She exclaimed. "I ain't never really talked to a No-Maj before." As Jacob and Queenie had their silent conversation, staring into each other's eyes intensely, Lily looked up from her hands on her lap and catched Newt staring at her again. Their eyes locked for a second too long, and she immediatly looked away, her cheeks burning. Lily wasn't sure if Newt was even interested in her, and if he was, she didn't know if it was just for her, or for what he had just discovered about her. She felt silly feeling this way  Tina cleared her throat and everyone looked at her, she was staring at Queenie. "I'm not flirting," the younger sister announced.

"Im just saying," Tina started. "Don't go getting attached. He's gonna have to be obliviated," she reminded the group, making Lily sigh in annoyance. "It's nothing personal."

Jacob, however, was obviously taking it personal. He loosened his tie, obviously not feeling so well. He looked like he was in the gorge of crying. Newt suddenly stood up, startling Lily.

"Miss. Goldstein I think Mr. Kowalski could do with an early night," Newt told the two girls. "Besides, you and I will need to be up tomorrow morning to find my niffler, so..." he trailed off. Liky had to admit it, she felt kind of left out when Newt mentioned that he and Tina were going out tomorrow morning. Could he not see that Tina was the one that dragged him into this mess in the first place? All Lily had ever done was trying to help him find the niffler.

"What's a niffler?" Queenie asked Tina, intrigued.

"Dont ask," Tina said. "You three can bunk in here," she said, going into a room. Newt froze. He stared at Tina's pleading eyes, and was about to deny the kind offer, but he looked into Lily's and made his decision.
