Lily suddenly felt her legs go weak, and she started sweating cold. This had been a very long and difficult day to go through for her, and now that she had finally relaxed, the magic inside her had seen this moment as a moment of weakness, the perfect moment to take over.

"Hey, you need to sit down, Honey," Queenie told Lily as soon as she realised what stare the girl was in. Just in time, her knees buckled up and she would have fallen to the ground if Newt hadn't caught her arm. He held her up against him and slowly lowered her onto the sofa beside Jacob.

"Are you alright?" He asked worryingly. Lily was taking deep breaths, trying to calm herself down. She quickly nodded.

"This... uh... this happens sometimes," she told him. It wasn't a lie, this type of reaction was normal for her after going through a stressful day. Newt frowned. Lily then realised her mistake. She was actually telling her symptoms to another Magical Beasts expert. He probably already knew exactly what was wrong with her.

"Oh, she hasn't eaten all day!" Queenie suddenly exclaimed. Lily frowned. It was true, but she had told Queenie so many time not to go into her head. "And you didn't get the money you wanted for your bakery, that's tough. You bake, honey? I love to cook."

"You're a Legilimens?" Newt asked in awe. Although she didn't like Queenie going through her head, Lily had to admit she was glad she was able to get Newt's attention away form her.

"Uh-huh, yeah. But I always have trouble with your kind. Brits. It's the accent," Queenie admitted.

"You can read minds?" Mr. Kowalski suddenly spoke up.

"Dont worry, honey. Most guys think what you was thinking, first time they see me. Now, you need food," she pointed at Lily and Jacob. "Hey, Mr. Scamander, you prefer pie or strudel?"

"I really dont have a preference," Newt told her. He obviously did not want to be there.

"You prefer strudel, huh, honey?" She asked Lily.

"Queenie-" Lily tried to warn her not to read her mind.

"Strudel it is."

"Well sit down, Mr. Scamander," Tina told Newt after everyone sat down and he was still standing.

"We're not gonna poison you," Queenie added with a smile as he sat down.
