"Take a right here," Tina instructed. They had apparated in an alley on the back of Tina's building, not to rise any suspicions. When they apparated Lily had to take a long minute to calm whirling magic inside of her. When she looked at her hands, she saw the faint black smoke she hadn't seen in years.

"Okay, before we go in... I'm not supposed to have men on the premises," Tina warned. Newt came to a halt, tightening his grip on Jacob's arm.

"In that case, Mr.. Kowalski and I can easily seek another accommodation-"

"Oh, no. You don't," Tina said, making him come with her.

They got inside and walked up some stairs, Lily in the front to see if there was anyone coming.

"Watch your step," Tina whispered as they neared her door.

"'S that you, Tina?" An old lady's voice said from inside a room.

"Yes, Mrs. Esposito," Tina yelled back.

"Are you alone?"

"I'm always alone, Mrs. Esposito."

They managed to walk inside the apartment, where was a beautiful blonde woman with nothing more than a nightgown on; that was Queenie Goldstein. Soft music was playing on the radio and the flames of the fireplace warmed the whole apartment.

"Tinie, you've brought men home?" The blonde asked as soon as she spotted Newt carrying Jacob and letting him fall on the sofa.

"You wanna put something on, Queenie?" Tina suggested.

"Sure," her sister said, putting a blue robe on. "Hey, Lily, how was work today?" Queenie asked her friend. Lily flashed a smile at her.

"I couldn't actually do my work, thanks to Tina here," Lily smiled sarcastically at her friend.

"Oh no," Queenie exclaimed. "And who are these men?"

"That's Mr. Scamander," Tina decided to say. "He's committed a serious infraction of the National Statute of Secrecy." Lily rolled her eyes. Drama Queen.

"A criminal?" Queenie asked. Lily watched as the expression on Newt's face turned into a frown.

"Uh-huh. And that's Mr. Kowalski, he's a no-maj."

"A no-maj?!" Queenie gasped in surprise. "What are you two up to?"

"Well, Mr. Samander has lost something and we are going to help him find it," Lily explained. "But it can wait until tomorrow morning, because I am tired and leaving."

"What?" Queenie exclaimed. "You're gonna have us alone with the two criminals?"

"They're not-"

"You are the only Auror here, you have to protect us!" Quennie kept going.

"Queenie they are literally harmless-"

"Please, please, please, Lily. Please stay."

Lily sighed.

"Fine."
