"All I'm saying, is that if you blow up the house, you're going to be so fired." You whispered as Jack searched the warehouse that the suspects had been hiding out in. "We'll be fine. Mac's not here so, nothing will go wrong." You snorted. "I'd agree with you but then we'd both be wrong." You told Jack. The last time this happened Jack had blown up the warehouse with Mac and you in it, that had been really fun to explain to Matty.

"So, what now?" You asked as nothing had been turned up. "Now we...now we..." Jack faltered, "Blow it up?" You shook your head, "Matty wouldn't like that."

"Wait for Mac?" You nodded. "Well, we still haven't checked the basement. We could do that." Jack suggested. He looked slightly scared at his own suggestion. "This plan of yours is going to get us killed. Of course, I'm in." You mentioned. He furrowed his brow at your obvious disregard for your own safety. "Hey, guys what did I miss?" Mac entered. "Jack wants to enter the scary basement." You told him, making ghost noises to annoy him even more. "It was a suggestion." He commented. "What are you scared of an empty basement?" Mac asked. There was a clatter of metal against the ground. Jack jumped. "Sorry." You spoke quietly with a smirk. "That's not funny." Jack pointed his finger at you. You sniggered before stopping when there was another clatter, you jumped and grasped at Jack's shirt. "That wasn't me." There was another clatter and the three of you jumped. There was a ripple of laughter, Riley left the shadows. "Sorry, that was too good an opportunity to pass up." Jack huffed a laugh. You grinned softly. "So, what now?" You asked when your heart rates had slowed.

Jack glanced at you, you were typing away filling out the report for the day. "Hey."

"Hey, Jack." Jack pulled out a chair and sat opposite you. "Do you want to go on a date with me?" His confidence slowed your response. "Sure, seven okay with you?" He nodded. "Great." You both smiled at each other. "Oh, thank god." Mac muttered and you both jumped neither had noticed his presence in the corner of the room.
