Remus need a bit of help.

Don't mistake me, he's a great guy. He's sweet, one of my best friends, pretty damn smart, but he's not as good as you'd think when it came to the ladies. Alice had her head on the library desk next to me, a groan escaping from her.

"Alice, it's okay." I tried to soothe her but she just shook her head and looked up at me,
"No it's not. It's embarrassing." She said with a groan following that. Remus, bless his soul, had just tried to ask Alice out by not asking her out. Understand? No? Well, here's what happened.

-Flashback Yo-

"Alice shut up, I'm trying to concentrate!" I hissed at her as we all tried to levitate another sixth year. In D.A.D.A we were working on how to work together. We all stood in a circle, Lucius on my left, Alice on my right. Alice was talking to me, having easily mastered the spell. The kid in the middle had his hands behind his head, relaxing.

Prick.

"But Amber-" "Just talk to Remus. Merlin's beard..." I huffed. I glanced over at Alice as she turned to Remus,
"How's it going?" He asked as he too looked over at her. I let out another huff and looked back towards the kid.
"Good. And yourself?" Alice asked back.
"Pretty good. Alice, what would you say if I were to ask you to Hogsmead?" Remus asked quickly yet casually.

All of a sudden the kid in the middle fell to the ground, groaning in pain. All of us gasped. Alice let out a squeak and I looked over at her to see that she had clutched her wand to her chest, "Oh my Merlin. Sorry Benny!" She called to the fallen Gryffindor. He stood up and rubbed the back of his head,
"I'm okay. It's all good, Alice." He said wincing. Professor Stealing looked at Alice with mock disappointment, "More concentration, Miss Rose. Now-" the bell rang and Stealing sighed, "Never mind. Class dismissed." Alice booked it out of the room once she knew she was able to go. I turned to Remus who was red,
"Real smooth, Remmy." He gave me a playful shove before the two of us walked out.

I took out my Charms text book,
"Listen, Benny looked too comfortable. It's okay! Remus-" she looked up at me,
"Don't say his name." She hissed as she became more red. I sighed,
"Ali, he's not Vol-" she winced, "-You Know Who." She sighed,
"I know but I made poor Benny fall! He's in the Hospital Wing! And I didn't answer Remus!" She laid her head back down and I rolled my eyes as I began to finish my homework,
"You do realize that he's sitting just a couple tables over, right?" I asked as I glanced to my left to see him red as hell. Alice looked up and saw him before looking back down,
"Shit." She whispered. I waved over at Remus,
"He's coming over! I'll be taking my leave, now." I smirked as Remus sat across from Alice. He gave me a thankful smile that I waved off and walked away with my things.

"Whatcha happy about?" I jumped as Sirius's arm went around my waist,
"Merlin, give at least some sort of- I don't know- warning before you come out of nowhere!" I said exasperatedly. He rolled his eyes and bet down to kiss my cheek,
"But then I wouldn't be able to see your cute scared face."
I gave him a look,
"Wow, thanks. Best boyfriend ever!" I said sardonically. We began to walk out to the beech tree.

"So, why are you so happy, love?" I let out a giggle,
"Remus tried to ask Alice out during D.A.D.A. You know, the class both you and James skipped today." I said with a glare. Sirius rolled his eyes and pulled me down to sit with him,
"We were planning a prank!" He said defensively. I rolled my eyes,
"Anyways, Alice freaked out and then they ended up talking so I left." I shrugged as I leaned against the tree. Sirius rolled his eyes,
"Hooking up your two best friends? Is that smart?" I gave Sirius a look,
"Thanks for that. Now I'm worried that if they were to date, what would happen if they break up? They would make me choose-"
"Shut up, Amb." Sirius said rolling his eyes again. I gave him a flat look,
"Don't talk to me like that. We're not friends anymore, Sirius. We are literally more than friends." He sighed and grabbed my hand,
"I'm sorry." I gave him a slight smile that he returned.
"Now, if you could maybe help with my Potions homework..." Sirius began as he looked through his bag.
