I was sitting peacefully when the phone rang. Crap. Only one person calls me these days and that was... Vespera. She was a villain, to put it nicely. And how she found me or my weakness I'll never know.
I picked up the phone and walked outside.
"Hello," I asked
" Ah, My little human. I have a new job for you."
"What is it?" I asked her
" I need you to find and injure an alicorn."
I continued walking. The place she sent me to stay was a cottage in the middle of nowhere. I sat down next to a stream.
"What the frick' s an Alicorn. And why do I need to injure it."
I heard a gasp. I turned around but no one was there.
"Silly human, an Alicorn is what you call a unicorn, with wings."
"Okay, where am I going to find it?" I asked.
"Transport will be arranged by Lady Gisela. Are we clear."
I hesitated before saying. "Yes, Vespera."
She hung up after that.
I got up and wandered around. " Lady Gisela, huh she's the one who educated me on the enemy, AKA Sophie Foster, and friends.
I heard another small gasp, but no one was there.
I went inside and played some music and put my headphones on.
I took an old path to an old town, where I got food.
The rest of the day went like usual, me reminding myself why I'm doing this.
"You're doing this for her. Remember for her."
