SNOW wasn't just a sign from the heavens that winter had finally arrived in Westeros. It was so much more than that.
For Jon it meant that the Night King is coming. That the end may be near.
For Daenerys it meant that the Age of Fire was coming to an end, and fire and ice needed to rise together in order for her to take the throne.
For Tyrion it meant that the tides were changing and the game of thrones was no longer between Cersei and Dany, but between those who fight for others and those who fight for themselves.
For Sansa it meant that the wolves reign is just beginning and the power of the Starks has only reached its first stages of vengeance.
For Cersei it meant that she was alone in this battle and she was ready for the fight. To take down those who oppose her and those who she loved. No one could stand in her way for power.
But for Jaime and Rose it meant that the first stages of their lives finally on their own were arriving in a time of drastic measures, one they were terrified of.
