More than friends

Hello sweeties!

So here's the new chapter. Hope you'll like it.

After the little scene with Lissana, he couldn't focus on his practice. When they were done it's already 4:15pm.

"Damn!" He cursed and changed his clothes and hurriedly drove to Levy's place.

The whole time while practicing, he was thinking about Lissana. Because she did used to be his friend but then Lucy moved here with her father.

He met her in the park. She was sitting alone with a white plue doll near a tree. And beside her was her father who was reading her a story.

He still remember that day when he talked to her and asked her to play with him.

Flash back▶️▶️▶️

Natsu saw a little girl with blonde hair with a white plue doll sitting with a man, supposedly her father.

He was reading her a book.

Natsu walked toward them and the man looked up at him and smiled. Natsu smiled back at him.

"Hello little boy. " he said to the pink haired boy who greeted him back with a broad smile. Then looked at her daughter. "Lucy... Go talk to him... "

Lucy hesitantly stood up and walked near him.

"Hi!" he said and introduced himself. "I'm Natsu Dragneel..... "

"Hello my name is Lucy Heartfilia..... " she said and he smiled at her.

"would you like to play with me?" Natsu asked her with a smile.

Lucy looked at her father for permission and he nodded.

"Sure!" Lucy smiled and walked with Natsu to the sand box. They played till it was time to go home.

Next day Natsu introduces her to his friends. But she was hesitant and ran to her father. She got scared of them cause she was never used to be near this much people.

Natsu got to her and assured her that they are his friends and very good people. She met them with Natsu by her side.

As time passes by and she felt comfortable with them with the help of Natsu. But she only stays in her group.

At first Lissana was happy with Lucy cause she got one more girl in the group. But Lucy only trusted Natsu so she is always around him.

Natsu took a liking toward Lucy. He wanted to protect her, be with her everytime so he stayed with her. First he thought this was only because she is new and needed help but later as time passed his liking grew into feelings.

Lissana was really upset because Natsu used to be with her, but ever since lucy came he was always with her. She started to dislike Lucy because of that. And it does not take time for that to change into hatred.

She grew distant from Natsu with a belief that he'll come back to her. If she stays away he'll start missing her and will come to her.

But this never happened.

So she decided to make him jealous. She changed her wardrobe to short dresses. She changed her attitude. But without her knowing she become what she never was. A Plastic.

She started to seduce Natsu but Natsu never liked it so he stayed away. Cause he never knows the reason of her sudden change he couldn't do anything.

Soon due to her behaviour she got cut off from everyone from the group. Everyone saw her as a different person and hated her ways.

She always tried to make Lucy feel love of herself. She joined cheer leading because Natsu joined Basketball. She tried to make him jealous and dated many boys.

But he didn't give her a damn so she slept around to take out her frustration and anger. Soon she became addicted to the popularity and sex. She fell too deep to even got herself out of it.

Her liking toward Natsu turned into obsession.

And she blamed everything on Lucy.

End of flashback.....

Natsu was already half an hour late when he pulled in front of Levy's house and horned.

A few seconds later Lucy and Levy got out of the front door.

Lucy walked up to his car and sat in passenger seat and waved at Levy who was standing at her door smiling happily at them.

Natsu smiled and waved at her.

He drove off.

"You are late.... " Lucy says while pouting and chuckled at her cuteness.

"Sorry Princess...... I didn't noticed the time..... " he said as he drove to his house instead of hers.

She looked at him confused.

"Natsu... Why are we going to your house....?"

"oh sorry... I forgot!....... Your dad called saying he has a business trip so he won't be home for a week. He couldn't reach your phone so he asked me to take you to my place for the time being.... "

"oh..... "

It is no different for Lucy to stay at his place. Her dad and Mr. Dragneel became friends after meeting each other. So his place is most likely her second home and vise a versa for him.

"We are home!" they yelled in unison and went to the kitchen, where Grandine was baking something, after dropping their bags in living room.

"welcome home...... " says Mrs dragneel as she saw them. She smiled and hugged Lucy and kissed Natsu cheek.

"Jude called and said you would be staying with us....... I'm soooo happy....!" she said and lucy nodded with a smile.

They sat down as Mrs Dragneel pulled out the cookies from the oven and put them on the counter in front of them.

Grandine and Lucy were talking when Natsu tried to get the cookie. He winced when touched the hot cookie.

Lucy turned to him as he put his finger in his mouth to suppress the pain.

"Natsu are you crazy... Who touches the cookies when they just came out of the oven..... You should let them cool first..... " Lucy babbled as she looked at his fingers worryingly.

"Luce..... I'm okay! It's just a little burn...... " he says.

"You shouldn't have done that...... "

"I didn't know it was that hot...... "

Grandine watched as they both talked. She smiles when Lucy started scolding him.

She has seen it before it is not new to her, but every time Natsu got in trouble and Lucy scolds him, she got to see how much she cares for him.

She is just perfect for Natsu. Grandine thought.

"Lucy dear.... Would you like to help me with dinner..... "

Lucy breaks away from her argument with Natsu and nodded at her.
