CHAPTER 14

RECONNECTION

The Emperor requested the presence of his children in the Grand Hall. Eunuch Tang Shan immediately went to the Empress Palace.

"Her Majesty, the Emperor would like to see his children in the Grand Hall, if you will permit them to go and see the Emperor?" Eunuch Tang Shan said.

"To what purpose would he want to see our children? He never recognizes them as his own because according to him I cheated with another man? Go back to the Grand Hall and tell him that I did not give permission our children to see him." The Empress answered.

The Eunuch was scratching his head. He doesn't know how the Emperor would react to it. He went back to the Palace and bow down to the Emperor.

'Your Majesty, The Empress won't allow his children to come and see you." Eunuch Tang Shan said.

"It's okay! Eunuch Tang Shan, some other time may be." The Emperor said. He was sad as if the world came crushing down on him.

He continues to do his work daily but he was still sad. Everyone can see it in his eyes, his having hard time concentrating because he really want to be with his family in the Empress Palace.

Every night walking going to the Palace garden listening to Li Me playing his flute and could sense that the music he played was sad. The Emperor long to see just a glimpse of his Empress but he know Li Me does not like it. He just have to be contented listening to him playing song.

"When can I see the Empress or my children? How long do I have to wait? I wanted to talk to them and say sorry. I want to make amends to what I did to my beloved wife. I wanted to be near him and he misses Li Me so much." The Emperor was thinking about it.

After a week, he still did not receive any invitation from the Empress to visit him. He was agitated and wanted to visit Li Me, he could'nt stand it anymore. He went to The Empress Palace with his entourage.

"Where are my beloved Empress and the children?" The Emperor said.

"Your Majesty, they left before the break of dawn going to the magical realm to stay there for just a couple of hours. They will be back soon." Hui Yan said.

"Why would Li Me won't tell me about it?" The Emperor said.

"Your Majesty, I was about to inform you but you came here and ask where they are so I told you about it and I have the letter in my hand to prove it." Hui Yan said.

"Do you have paper and pen that can use? I have to write letter to my Li Me because he was not going to let me see him and our children." The Emperor said.

IN HIS LETTER

Ever dearest my wife Li Me,

I know was so cruel to have made you felt like I didn't want you. I'm so sorry from the bottom of my heart. I forced my way with you without considering your feelings. I was so angry and overpowered by my jealousy that you may have cheated on me. Your mother was furious upon knowing it. She told me that its one of your secrets that you can't be hold forcefully without wearing your gloves because you can get pregnant. When I touch you that night forcefully and kissed you. It felt so good all of my desires were awaken by touching your soft, smooth skin, and kissing your soft and plumped lips. I honestly, didn't know that with such action you can get pregnant with our children.

I'm sorry if I was not there when you gave birth to our triplets. I did everything I could to find you every day until my predicament about those bandits, mercenary and soldiers from other kingdom. I would like to thank you and the children for your help during my predicament. I will try to be patient until you will invite me to visit you and see our children. I will woo you again just like any normal couple if you allow me. I wanted to talk to you face to face so you can see that I'm sincere.
