CHAPTER 16

INEVITABLE CHAOS

Not a day goes by when the palace garden was full of laughter with the couple's daughters and son teasing each other. The Emperor never misses a day giving flowers to his beloved wife and always says, the three magic words I love you to Li Me. Li Me did not respond verbally to those sweet words to the Emperor. He still has doubt about everything. He really finds it hard to respond to the Emperor.

Feng Longwei was so patient to wait for Li Me to reciprocate his feeling for him. He waits until the end and will never give up. After his meetings on state matter, he immediately went to the Empress Palace to have lunch and dinner with his family before going back to his Palace during the night.

One day, Shuze Shen went to the Emperor Palace to inform him of the spreading rumors that impending chaos will be brought upon their Empire because they want to capture Li Me at all cost.

"What did you say? Where did you get the information? If this is true we need to prepare and take action ahead." The Emperor said.

Shuze Shen saw the worried face of the Emperor.

"I will gather more information, Your Majesty so we can be more prepared for the meantime keep a close eye to Her Majesty." Shuze Shen said.

The Emperor went to the Empress Palace pretending to be ok! But his son Wang Shu notices it.

"Father, what seems to be the problem? I notice that you're worried. I can see it in your eyes and face?" Wang Shu said.

"I will tell you when I gather more information but for now pretend that we are having fun or your Mother will be worried. Just tell your sisters secretly, that we will talk the day after tomorrow." Feng Longwei said. Wang Shu nodded.

"Your Majesty, I have gathered the information that the impending chaos is true. The five kingdoms are preparing to battle it out to capture, Her Majesty, Li Me. They know that he possessed great power and beauty worthy to put to shame any women in the Empire beyond this kingdom. They wanted to capture him for their kings desire him." Shuze Shen said. He is furious because he does not want her Majesty to be hurt. Shuze Shen will make sure the safety of her Majesty.

Shuze Shen and the rest of the Guiren family planned to protect Li Me from harm. They will protect their precious Goddess of the Moon. They know that he does not need it for he has power and magical beast to protect but him.

Aside from the Guiren planned to protect LiMe. The Emperor also with Minister Changze Shen prepares a military strategy that will defeat the enemy. They need to gather all the resources and including the help of Feng Longwei's daughter and son too.

MILITARY STRATEGY

Changze Chen laid the planned in the table. He assigned the Emperor, his son Wang Shu, and some of the shadow guards in front beyond the walls which is the north part of the Palace. Shuze Chen and Xi Feng will be on the East side of the Palace. Wang Shen, Yan Mei, and Xia Chen will be on the west part of the Palace. Changze Shen, and the rest of the Guiren family along with their guards will be at the south part of the Palace.

Wang Shu ordered his magical creatures to divide themselves on to all corners of the Palace to help out. Ashran will remain on my side.

"Do not be merciful with the enemy or else they will take advantage and could breach our defenses. Everyone must be alert." Wang Shu said.

The Emperor was proud of his son. He never has an idea that he possesses leadership in a time of trouble. I will make him my Crown Prince of the Feng Empire and the heir to the throne after this problem.
