So, I was tagged by sarsasstic. Basically, all you do is take the first ten lines from the last ten books you've written and post them? Bad news is that I don't actually have ten books published and I don't want to post books that aren't published on here because I'm weird about how I write, and don't do a lot of things coherently. So yeah, I'm not doing that. Instead, I'll just do it for the few books I actually have posted lmaooo.
Into the Light | P Parker
The day Aaron Holden-Stark returned to New York City from boarding school for the next several weeks happened to be one of the biggest days of his life.
"Dad?" the newly-turned fifteen year old called out when he opened the door to the small flat, his father Tony Stark, had discreetly rented for Aaron to live during the summer and winter breaks.
"In the kitchen," came the response.
Aaron quickly deposited his suitcase filled with all his stuff into his room, and then went into the kitchen, where he was greeted by his father. The kitchen table hosted a laptop, in which Tony had opened, though facing away from Aaron. His dad, however, was sitting in one of the two chairs, far enough from the laptop that the food he was eating wouldn't get over the technology. Aaron's eyes went straight to the bag of fast food, only too glad to see that it was from the Chinese place down the street that he loved so much.
"Sit down," Tony told his son, his brown eyes gesturing towards the other chair, which was conveniently placed in a way that the laptop would still be faced away from Aaron. "Eat. I got you your General Tso's you like."
Burning Rubber | T Stark
To say that Killian Dawson was a good person would've been a flat-out lie. He even knew it himself, although that didn't stop him from trying to do his best for his family.
His first marriage, to a wonderful woman named Evelyn, was never what the man had wanted. He'd only married her because it had been expected of him, not because he loved her. He had a feeling Evelyn had felt the same way about him, but it hadn't stopped the two from having a child together, a beautiful little girl who was named Raelyn.
However, his wife being pregnant with his child did not stop Killian from cheating on Evelyn with someone Killian did love, an old friend of his by the name of Winona. And it made it all the more complicated when, two weeks after Raelyn was born, Winona gave Killian a son of the name Julian, whom Winona insisted take his father's last name.
When Evelyn had found out her husband had cheated on her, had been cheating on her since before their wedding, the redhead was absolutely irate. And it wasn't like Killian could blame her but he couldn't risk losing Raelyn in the inevitable divorce.
It's Not Right, But It's Okay | STARKER
Tony had no idea how it had happened. And he didn't mean how he ended up in his bed with a naked Peter Parker curled up around him. He hadn't been that drunk the previous night.
No, what he meant was that he had no idea how he and Peter had gotten as far as they had over the past couple of months. If someone had told him two and a half years ago when he'd discovered Peter that they would be sleeping together on a regular basis, Tony would've laughed in their faces and called them insane. After all, back then Peter had been a kid, fifteen years old.
And yet, somehow they had ended up exactly where they were at the current moment, together. Or well, at least sleeping together.
Secret Love | STARKER
Peter Parker sat in the backseat of the really nice, really fancy car that had been sent to his place. Mr. Happy was up in front driving him to the Avengers Compound, which made Peter confused. Just last week he had turned Mr. Stark's invitation of becoming an Avenger down, so he wasn't sure why the man had wanted to talk to him.
All he knew was that after Decathlon practice, he'd been texted by Mr. Stark, and had been told to meet Mr. Happy in the parking lot. The man hadn't actually said where they were going, but Peter remembered the way from when Happy had taken him to the compound the previous week.
It was confirmed when they pulled up into the parking lot of the compound, and Happy opened the door for Peter. Even though the fifteen year old had just been there, Peter couldn't help but being amazed by how awesome the compound looked. This was the real place for the actual Avengers, where they came and trained and lived most of the time. This could've been Peter's second home, but he'd turned it down to be a friendly, neighborhood Spider-Man. It wasn't as though he regretted his choice or anything, but there was a small part of him that wondered how everything would be right now if he hadn't turned down the offer.
The Mischief's Assassin | L LAUFEYSON
It was a peaceful night on the mountainous area, except for a helicopter that was being piloted rather quickly through the night sky. The person flying it was heading towards the other area of the region that was terribly busy, a building which was clearly some kind of government operations.
Inside the helicopter, there were three agents of Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division (SHIELD). Agent Maria Hill, a woman with dark, short, hair was flying the helicopter, while a young, blonde woman by the name of Agent Kelsey Döter had her arms folded against her chest, glaring at her companion, a formidable looking bald man with an eye patch covering his left eye. This man was SHIELD Director Nick Fury.
"Sir, I don't think this is a good idea," Kelsey told Fury, an urgent tone to her voice. "We can't be sure what the Tesseract will do!"
Fury glared at the blonde with his one good eye. Kelsey didn't flinch, however, as she refused to let Fury know how intimidated she was. Instead, she met the man's gaze with almost the same intensity.
Isolation | E Lehnsherr
The basement in question was dark, and damp. There were only a couple tiny windows that showed the outside, and though there was indeed a light available down there, it was off. There wasn't much decor either, although it was clear that someone lived in the basement. There was a mattress out in the middle, although away from the two windows. There was also an end table near the mattress, which had a stack of six books, all varying degrees of thickness. And, all over the floor, was clothes strewn.
It seemed like there was no one in the basement, but then in a shadowy corner where none of the light from the moon reached, a figure moved. Once it came out of the shadows, and into the moonlight, it was clear the figure was a girl. There wasn't too much recognized about her, besides the fact that she was clearly around sixteen or seventeen years old. She was wearing a dark hoodie that had a hole towards the bottom, with the hood up. Not much could be seen about her facial expression either, considering how it was dark.

"I'll take three five dollar craving boxes then," Cyrus Von Haden told the man behind the counter when the line had finally dwindled down and he was asked what he wanted.
The guy looked at Cyrus skeptically, and Cyrus simply rolled his eyes. "Look," he purposefully looked at the guy's name tag, "Drew. This is how it works when you work in the fast food business. I order food. You mark down what I order on your little computer, and then have the people in the back make it. You don't look at me like I'm insane for buying a little more than the average person. And anyways, as far as you're aware of, I could have friends outside waiting for me."
The guy, Drew, nodded his head, and marked down on his computer what Cyrus had ordered.
"That'll be fifteen dollars and seventy-eight cents," Drew announced. "And what's the name for the order?"
"Cyrus. And can I have a drink carrier?"
Alright. And that last one is more of a sneak peek than anything, lmao. Also, I've seen people do this in different ways and I kind of just chose to share roughly about ten sentences from the books. So yeah.
Anyways, I'm tagging
