All I'm gonna say is that I've seen a blow up of Veddie (Venom/Eddie for anyone unaware) shippers on Tumblr.
Most of them are people who ship Starker (that I'm aware of. Don't forget, that's just what I mainly follow)
But today, I saw someone I know doesn't ship Starker (I follow them coz they're not extremely vocal about being anti-Starker, unless someone mentions it in which they go off on a really rude tangent, but mostly, I ignore it coz I like their posts) and they posted a Veddie post that was clearly Veddie and I got really confused.
Like, I haven't seen Venom yet (im going with a friend on Tuesday, hopefully) but I'm pretty sure it's more "problematic" than Starker. But it's apparently more okay to ship Veddie? (I saw a lot of people in the comment thing agreeing with the poster so yeah)
But yeah. Why is it okay to ship Veddie? But not Starker?
