So, I saw this tag on Tumblr and it looked like a lot of fun so I decided to do it, lmao. Here goes nothing.

1) Is there a story you're holding off on writing for some reason?
Several, actually. Mainly because either a) I need to do a little bit more research on certain themes I wanna do, or b) I just really want to finish another fic that's got similar themes or something first.

2) What work of yours, if any, are you most embarrassed about existing?
I have a One Direction book on my old account that was the reasoning why I created a new account in the first place, because people kept expecting me to write more One Direction and most people weren't following me for the books I wanted to write. Anyways, the book is really cringey and terrible all the way through, and a little insensitive, but like I also like rereading it sometimes because it's a good way to remember that I used to be a crap author, but I've grown a lot since then.

3) What order do you write in? Front of book to back? Chronological? Favorite scenes first? Something else?
Oh my god. So, when writing a book, I tend to come up with these random snippets of scenes so I'll write them down somewhere. Whether it's just dialogue for me to fit into a book and add description, or it's a full scene just depends. Then, as I write, I'll try to add the scenes into the book, but not every scene fits the narrative in the end, so they end up being kind of like deleted scenes. This is also one of the reasons why it takes me forever to update, because while I'll be writing something, it won't be something that happens for a long time in the book.

4) Favorite character you've written?
Rhett from my original book I've been working on. He's just my baby and I love him so fucking much it hurts.

5) Character you were most surprised to end up liking writing?
I'm gonna use a fanfiction example here, and just say Steve Rogers in general. He's just such a difficult character for me to write, but I think that's why I like writing him? I like the challenge.

6) Something you would go back and change in your writing that it's too late/complicated to change now?
Nothing really. Like, that's what multiple drafts are for, and if I really don't like something, I rewrite it, lmao.

7) When asked, are you embarrassed or enthusiastic to tell people you write?
Absolutely enthusiastic until they ask me if I've been published or what kind of books I write. Then I glare at them because it's none of their business lmao.

8) Favorite genre to write?
Fantasy with romance, for my originals. For my fanfics, I like writing romance, but with some sort of...obstacle in the way. Like, that's one of the reasons I love Starker so much, because it's a lot of fun to write the age gap between the two of them because it definitely would cause issues, and that's one of the reasons why I'm excited to really get to work on Secret Love, because that's one of the central themes of that book.

9) What, if anything, do you do for inspiration?
If I really need it, I like talking things through with people. I talk through my original book I'm currently working on with my cousin, and with my fanfics, I tend to talk to jackskellingtonrulz5, though I also listen to music and read other books to get inspiration, but if it's the latter, I'm very conscious of whether I'm taking inspiration or if I'm straight up copying, and if it's the latter, I try to figure out how to make it my own.

10) Write in silence or with background noise? With people or alone?
Most of my writing is done in public places with music playing because it's easier to keep that as a background noise than it is to ignore all conversation going on around me.
