Honestly, at some point, I need to redo my top 10 favorite Marvel characters because it's kind of a vastly different list than it was the last time I posted. That's the issue with these things, new movies make me love new characters.
So fun fact. Hope Van Dyne is my favorite female in all of Marvel. Did she hold that position when the original Ant-Man came out? Nah. I liked her in that movie and all, but the best characters in that movie by far were Scott and Cassie. However, come Ant Man and the Wasp and she's suddenly my favorite female. Why? Because she fucking stole the show in that movie and I now officially love her and I want her to stick around in the MCU for a while. God, she's a wonderful woman and I love her so fucking much.
Anyways, I think one of the reasons why I love her is just because she's a fucking badass and she's really sassy, and also she's kind of really hot? Like, idk. I also love how she doesn't take shit from anyone, and she's just, in general, a really fucking great character.
Like, don't get me wrong, I still love Scott Lang and he's still adorable as fuck and I love his relationship with Cassie. But, Hope Van Dyne is just absolutely amazing and she can mess me up any way she wants and I would be grateful for it all.
I don't know. I just love Hope to death, and I really hope we get to see more of her in the MCU, and between her, Peter P, Carol Danvers [another character who kind of shot their way up into my top ten], and a couple of other characters, I might actually still watch the MCU even if...things happen in Endgame that end up making me not very happy with the MCU or the stupid Russos.
