S.O.T.D: THERAPY BY ALL TIME LOW

~

There were many things that were cool about having people who weren't really your parents, act like your parents. One of them being that you were allowed to go out during school nights because "it had to be done". There were also crappy things about having these "non parentals" and that was the awkward "If he touches you inappropriately or does anything you aren't comfortable with, get out of there" talk I got from Mark...he even patted my shoulder to top off the worlds most awkward one sided conversation ever.

"Oh my gosh, yes I get it" I hissed squirming before he patted me again, "Nothing inapropro"

"I honestly can't believe your going on a date before I am...This would have never happened in the real world" London sniffed walking into the living room.

"Your from Iowa" Nate grunted giving her a confused look, "Your point is invalid"

There was a small part of me that felt incredibly warm that Nate was kind of defending my honor but then I remembered he was wearing a star wars shirt and flannel bottoms...and it was all just kind of lost in that moment.

"At least she looks good" Stephen noted sitting on the arm of the love seat beside me, "Those shoes are killer"

I had opted for a casual look with a pair of light washed distressed skinny jeans, a relaxed short sleeve pocket tee, and my Nike Jordan 1 flight 2 sneakers that I had bought on a whim.

"Its the jeans...your lucky I let you borrow my Hollister jeggings, your ass would look like a train wreck without them" London still hadn't let up with her slightly concealed jealousy.

"Its not your jeans that are doing it for her..." Nate muttered absentmindedly.

We all stared at him and he shrugged, "What?"

"You just commented on her butt...and said it looked good" Stephen had no qualms making the awkward more awkward.

"If I notice a great set of buns~"

"AHHHH" Des, London, and I yelled in unison.

"He said buns!" Mark cried clawing at his face.

"What?" Nate looked around confused as we all continued making haggard sounds, "Whats wrong with buns?"

"HE SAID IT AGAIN" Stephen shrieked and we descended into more cries of agony.

"You guys are a band of idiots" Nate grunted getting up and going to the fridge.

"Andrea, remember, you have to bring up drugs at some point in the conversation" Des stared at me straight on and I nodded.

The plan going in was to keep things as chill as possible but to also butter him up enough to introduce me to anyone that could hook me up with moonshine.

"To be honest, Evan doesn't look like the kind of boy to know where to get drugs, though" Mark piped up.

"Even if he doesn't use, he has to know where Andy could get some. He's on the football team for God's sake's; sometimes it gets stressful and chances are someone on his team knows how to unwind" Stephen spoke as the doorbell rang and easily went to open it.

"Sup dude" I could hear Evan's deep voice and my heart stopped in my chest. Sucking in a deep breath, I made my feet move me to the foyer.

"Hey Evan" I creaked waving awkwardly. His bright eyes found mine and he smiled brightly. He was wearing a navy shirt that hugged his gorgeous chest and a pair of simple khaki shorts.
