Eszter Maximoff is moving passed the whole Avengers scene, and trades the superhero life for an ordinary one. Living with Tony Stark and Pepper Potts, the enhanced felt the feeling of having a mom and dad once again. Eszter learns more about her powers during her time away, but her abilities came to a point where they've become an issue for the government. The ability to control and manipulate the darkness, conjuring energy orbs—all of it was becoming overpowering and finally, Ross stepped in and Eszter was forced to wear a dampener to seize her powers for good. It had been dreadful for the girl as she was separated from the only family she had left, Eszter and Wanda would occasionally visit one another before Wanda would have to focus on missions, and Eszter with school.
Eszter began to attend Midtown School of Science and Technology—something Tony thought would help the girl because he knew how smart Eszter is, even if she doesn't want to admit it. There, she only had three friends: Michelle, Peter, and Ned. Eszter tended to stay with a smaller group, considering she has a sister part of the Avengers, but not everyone liked the idea with schooling with an enhanced-being.
As much as Eszter tries to be normal, there will always be a time when she's not, and she finally accepts it.

EDITED: The story was altered to fit, and I also didn't really like how it was written, so you'll notice a few differences from the previous edit.
AGES: Regarding the ages for my book, they will be altered from the MCU. Wanda is born in 1998, whereas Eszter was born in 2001. The bombing happened around 2006–2007.
TIMELINE: As for the timeline, it doesn't exactly follow the MCU timeline considering everything was released after I started this series. Don't overthink the timeline—it's not that important for my story.
