When Gauri returned to the design department she immediately started to look for Riddhima who was no where in sight. Even Ajay found it odd that Riddhima did not join them for lunch because usually she would always use lunch time to spread gossip among all the secretaries in the company.

Ajay: Seems like Riddhima is not back yet. Do you want to hang out with me Gauri? You can watch what I do and how I choose models according to the garment they would be wearing.

Feeling him come closer made Gauri very uncomfortable to which she took a few steps back.

"No need. I can wait by myself. It's useless for me to watch you do something that I will have no part of. Waste of time."

Hooking up his lips at how cold this new co-worker was made Ajay more determined to stay.

"Well then I have no choice but to sit here and wait with you. Maybe we can use this time to get to know each other even more."

"I don't want to be responsible for hindering your work. Please return."

"Gauri if I didn't know any better I'd think that you hate me."

"I do not."

"Then why this cold shoulder?"

"This is how I am."

Inching his seat closer to her Ajay winks at a stone faced Gauri while resting his palm against his face.

"Well I guess it is my job to melt that cold exterior of yours."

Looking at the man who would just not let her be Gauri decided it was best to remain silent. Luckily for her Riddhima had return. Seeing Ajay sitting with Gauri like some puppy made Riddhima chuckle.

"I see you two were so quick to form such a close bond."

Pretending that he was at a loss Ajay clicked his tongue while letting out a long sigh.

"I wish but Ms. Sharma here is hard to get close to. Maybe my luck will change this weekend."

Gritting her teeth as Ajay uses his charms on Gauri Riddhima could only kick herself for once falling for it herself. "Bastard!"

Riddhima: This weekend?

Ajay: Yes. Do you wanna join too Riddhima? Usually you hate going out with the new people.

Riddhima: I wouldn't miss it for the world since Gauri and I will be working together for a very....very....long time. Oh yea Gauri....I'm here to take you to see Ms. Jhanvi. She wants to have a word with you.

Gauri who had no idea what was about to happen slowly stood up from her desk and followed Riddhima who had a sly smirk on her face. The moment she entered Jhanvi's office Gauri's eyes landed on the 4 rolls of fabric lying on Jhanvi's desk.

Gauri: You wanted to see me Ms. Jhanvi?

Jhanvi who was leaning back against her black leather chair was contemplating what would be the appropriate step to take in this situation. Running her fingers along the 4 rolls of fabric Jhanvi looks directly at Gauri.

"You do know the difference between silk and satin do you not?"

Gauri nods her head to confirm that she indeed knew.

"Then why would you dare to try and pick satin? You should know that here at Oberoi Fashions we use nothing but the best."

"Why would you think that I was the one to pick out the satin?"

Riddhima who slyly used this opportunity to block Gauri's reasoning by interjecting.

"If not you are you accusing me?! Ms. Jhanvi! I've been working with you for a few years now! Have I ever come back with anything less than the Oberoi Fashion's standard?!"
