"Wow, Jungkook and you are throwing a sleepover without me?!" Krystal wails through the earbuds in my ears.

I let out a light-hearted laugh as I place the popcorn into the microwave and lean against the counter, crossing my arms across my chest.

"I would invite you over but I know that you already have plans with...who is it this week?" I tease her. Walking away from the microwave, I head over to the sliding door catching how the rain starts to slowly descend from the skies. Krystal clicks her tongue, pretending to be annoyed.

"I'm dating Taemi-- no shoot that was last week. I'm dating Hyojung."

I cackle at her, throwing my head back at how genuine Krystal sounded. She most likely didn't mean to mess up, but it was great that she did. The microwave beeps and I go over to look for a bowl to place the popcorn in.

"Okay, you made your point. Well, be careful with Jungkook. He hasn't had a girlfriend in years who knows how raging his hormones are," She warns.

I set the popcorn on the end table by the couch and go to retrieve some junk food I purchased on my way home, a collection of candy and chips.

"Well if he tries anything, I know I could easily take him down, Krys. I know all his tickle spots," I hear something heavy fall and take a look over at the laundry room door where Taehyung set his backpack down.

He stood soaking wet from the rain, pulling off his striped button-down shirt and revealing a slim-fit white tee. The T-shirt had gotten wet in the front making it able to be seen through to his toned abs. He looks up from behind his wet fringe, the strands covering his eyes slightly and my heart beats faster. I didn't expect it to and so I look away.

"True, you so could. Mmm, I got to get ready for my date tonight. Next time, invite me to your sleepover, alright?"

"Yeah," I agree, finding it hard to be louder than a whisper.

After her goodbye, I tap my earbuds to end the call and turn Taehyung's way again. He takes off his socks and bunches it with his shirt, walking back into the laundry room to put them away. I let out a sigh, wondering why I suddenly feel weird around Taehyung.

When he emerges from the laundry room, I can't help but stare at him. He returns my gaze and for a while, it's just the two of us staring at each other in silence until he breaks it with a wide grin. He does a gentle side skip to my side and gently nudges my shoulder.

"Are you staring at me because you're worried?"

I feel my face heat up from his face being right next to my face. I pray that he doesn't notice and lean back a little, bumping into the armrest, "Yeah... it's raining so hard. I should have picked you up from the stop with an umbrella, sorry."

He chuckles and pokes my cheek. "Next time, alright? You wouldn't want me catching a cold and being a burden."

He steps away from me and I can breathe again.

"After all, I'm a big pain when I'm sick.' He stretches and takes a look around the room, "Hm? So many snacks...Did you get dumped by your boyfriend?"

I shake my head with a smile, sliding into the couch, "No. Jungkook is coming over for a sleepover and I know that you don't like people over, so we'll just be in my room."

Taehyung looks at the table and moves around the candy bars, probably deciding which one he wants to eat. "Is he sleeping... in your room?" his voice suddenly lowers in pitch, sounding grave.

"Yeah... he is, but we've done that before. We're childhood friends after all." I explaining myself to him. Grabbing the controller, I turn on the game console and scroll to find the streaming app deciding I'd better find something to watch now before we fight over our options. Taehyung grabs a kit-kit bar and rips it open, still not making eye contact with me.

"It's not weird for you to have a guy sleep in the same room as you? Do you trust him that much?"

I nod, sure of myself, and watch as he inserts the Kit-Kat in his mouth, finally looking up at me as he takes a bite.

"Things can happen when you give your trust so easily, Hanyi." He sets the rest of the chocolate bar down and has a seat on the couch next to me. I try to act as casual as possible.

"O-Oh but things wouldn't happen between us. They never have and never will." I mindlessly scroll through the movie options as I feel him grab a strand of my hair and twirl it around his finger. He growls slightly or did I imagine that?

"Do you trust me?" he asks in a whisper.

I turn to look at him and nod, my voice responding weakly, "I trust you."

"Wrong answer."

Grabbing my hands, he interlocks our fingers together and yanks me towards him as he falls back on the couch.

Just as fast as he yanked me, his hand finds itself behind my head, keeping me still so that his lips can lock with mine.

What.
