28| Dangerous things

Taehyung was in a daze.

He gripped his backpack straps as he walked to school, the events from the night angering him enough to awaken from it.

"I won't ask you one more time. What are you doing in my sister's room at this hour?" Darren shoved his hands in his pockets as he slowly approached Taehyung. Despite Darren's calm tone, Taehyung knew he was seething.

It didn't scare him, though, and so he didn't even budge. Instead, his eyes fixated themselves on Darren.

As Darren came to a halt in front of him, Taehyung tilted his head back, dropping his eyelids slightly. He absolutely despised his half-sibling. No, Darren wasn't a true sibling. For 11 years, he was all alone in that house until Darren entered and ruined everything.

"Get out!" Darren pointed a finger out the door.

Taehyung raised an eyebrow. "Why? I'm the one that lives here."

Darren bit down hard on his bottom lip, eyes menacing.

Taehyung laughs internally. Did he forget he had a black belt in Tae Kwon Do? This wasn't the place or the time to use it..

Taehyung's eyes finally closed, ducking his head down as he sighed. "I'm tired of fighting everyone. I'm going to bed."

That part was true. Taehyung was exhausted. Why was his life a constant battleground? With his father, with Darren, with Jungkook, even Yoongi. Why did Taehyung have to prove himself repeatedly? It would never end, but it was alright, Taehyung will just-

"Take them all down." Taehyung clicked his tongue before sliding the classroom door open.

His face dropped as he saw the crowd of students surrounding the one and only Park Jimin. Was he surprised? No. This happened wherever Jimin went. Another reason Taehyung found him such a nuisance. Giggles burst Taehyung's eardrums as Jimin leaned over all the girls, his charming smile accessorized by his eye smile.

Taehyung rolls his before making it to his desk in the back, backpack hitting the floor with a thud. Disinterested by the fiasco, Taehyung quickly took out his notebook and started getting ahead on some work. He didn't even have to look up to know Somi was glancing his way.

"Brr, is the thermostat broken or did it just get cold in here for no reason?"

"Check your heart, Somi." Taehyung didn't skip a beat, flipping the page of his textbook before returning to his notes.

Somi rolls her eyes up, sticking her tongue out at him before leaning on the desk behind her.

"Whatever, Mr. bad guy. Park Jimin here was just telling us he got scouted by TopBeat Entertainment on his way to school this morning."
