I wasn't planning on writing a story for Halloween, but here ya go. This'll be a short one. Hope you enjoy this, and have a great Halloween! ——————————————————
"Wait, you're telling me you've never celebrated Halloween before? Ever?" I asked James incredulously. "My family celebrates it every year. It's my favourite holiday!"
"I don't get what's so appealing about dressing up and asking strangers for candy.... although... I do love candy." He laughed. "Besides.. there's no way we could do that here.."
"Oh yeah there is. There's a Hogsmeade trip on that day, and I've heard that the shops are giving candy. Dress up with me? We can do, like.. a couples costume?" I asked hopefully.
James and I have been dating since our 2nd year, and we've been dating for 3 years now. "I guess we can, if it'll make you happy." He smiled at me.
"Really?" I looked in his eyes, and they were telling me he meant it. I squealed, and hugged him tightly. He pulled back, and I placed a quick, gentle kiss on his lips.
"We better get going.. you know how Professor Mcgonagall gets when students are late." I laughed and grabbed his hand as we walked to her classroom.
~Halloween Morning~
"Hey baby, are our costumes ready?" I smirked up at him.
"Yes they are." I squealed, handing him the outfit. While he was changing in the bathroom, I dug through my chest to find my dress. We were going as Cinderella and Prince Charming, because he had let me choose.
"Seriously?" He looked down at his outfit and laughed. "I look so stupid in this."
"I think you look very handsome in that, thank you very much. Wait until you see mine." I ran into the bathroom, because I was so excited, and changed quickly.
I put blue eyeshadow on my eyelids, and light pink lipstick on my lips. I had already put on the rest of my makeup on earlier this morning. Then I put my H/L, H/C up in a bun, and the Cinderella headband on my head. I had put on the black choker before my dress, and my gloves were on right after I had finished my hair and makeup. My glass heals were last to be put on, and I excitedly put them on. I had put on a charm to make them not hurt my feet, and I was looking forward to tonight.
As I walked out of the door, James turned to look at me. His jaw dropped, and his face turned red. I smiled and walked over to him slowly. "Like what you see?"
"I love you, Y/N. I love you so much." He wouldn't meet my eyes, so I slowly lifted his chin. The only emotion in his eyes was love, and it made my heart feel full.
"I love you too James." After I had said that, he looked too happy for one body to contain, and it was contagious. I smiled widely, leaning in to kiss him.
He leaned down, and kissed me passionately. This was unlike most we've shared before, because most are very short, and full of affection. This one was longer, and full I passion and love. I pulled away, and leaned my forehead against his, whispering, " I love you so, so much my Prince."
