I have absolutely no idea where this idea came from, but here we go.....
You're a fourth year with The Marauders.

"I swear Y/BF/N! I'm totally fine! I've gotten 4 hours of sleep! I'm fine." I yelled as soon as we were the only two left in our dorm room.

My parents got divorced at the beginning of the month, and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it. "No you're not. The teachers know, and would let you skip class. Just take the day off Y/N." She glares at me. "I mean it. If you come to any of our classes I'm going to kill you."

"Okay Y/BF/N, I get it. I'll take the day off. That doesn't mean I'm going to sleep though."

"Just try to, please..... for me?  I'm getting really worried about you Y/N. You haven't been getting any sleep during the night, and you barely eat. You rarely communicate to anyone anymore. Please, I'm always here for you. I'll help you, but you need a break."

I laughed hard. "Okay.. I get it. You didn't have to get all cheesy about it."

We walked to breakfast in a comfortable silence, and got there in less than 5 minutes. We sat down by a few of our other friends, and ate in peace. I noticed the Marauders at the Griffindor table looking at me and talking amongst themselves. Throughout the rest of breakfast, I watched them to make sure they weren't going to do anything to my friends or me. I relaxed as soon as I saw them walking toward the door.

"So Y/N, are you full enough? We still have a few minutes to ea-" My best friend was cut off by my scream as something was poured onto my head.

I stood up, looking down at the table to see that it was covered with worms. "Oh hell no! You fucking didn't!" I yelled at them.  This on top of everything else pushed me over the edge. "That's not fucking funny! Do you seriously think that's funny?!"

"No... I don't.  But he does.." James said in between laughs, pointing at Sirius. Sirius was laughing his ass off.

"Yeah Sirius, laugh all you want.  Just laugh at the girl who had to cry all night instead of getting sleep. I know that was just absolutely hilarious."  I said quietly. My eyes filled with tears as I walked away from them.

"Wait, Y/N!!" Sirius called.

I bolted out of the Great Hall at a record speed for me. I've never been a really fast runner, but I'm running faster than Sirius is. My biggest problem with running is endurance, so I won't be able to run long.

"Y/N! Wait! I just want to talk!" He yelled as I ran into the empty Potions classroom. I locked the door, and barricaded it with at least 13 desks. He shouldn't be able to get through that for a few minutes.

He unlocked the door and opened it to see all the desks there. He started moving them magically, and I ran into the closet that held all the Potions ingredients. I breathed easier as soon as the door was locked.

"Y/N, I just want to talk to you. Can I talk to you please?" Sirius asked from the other side of the door. I couldn't answer, because of all the tears running down my cheeks.

The door opened, and Sirius stepped inside. I refused to look at him as he sat down beside me, pulling me into his side. We sat like that for about 5 minutes, with me crying into his shoulder. When I pulled away, he grabbed my chin and connected our lips for a split second.

"I didn't mean to make you cry Y/N, but I think there's more to it than just the worms. Want to talk about it?" He looked at me expectantly, and I stared back with wide eyes.

"No. But I would love to know why the fuck You kissed me. Why the fuck did you kiss me?"

"I just wanted to show how sorry I was. Was it not okay?"

"Sirius.. that was my first kiss. No, it was not okay. You need to ask next time." I rolled my eyes and stood up, walking away from Sirius, and ignoring as he called after me again.

~The next week~

I spent the rest of my week ignoring every attempt Sirius made to talk to me. His first attempt was to just talk to me in the hallway, but just yesterday he sent me a letter. I didn't open it, but I walked up to him and gave it to him unopened. I wanted him to know how upset I was with him. I have a feeling that today, he will try something even more embarrassing.

When I arrived at lunch, I wasn't expecting him to be sitting by my friends. "What do you want Sirius?" I asked him.

"I want you to know how bad I feel. I didn't mean to, and I promise that I'll ask next time, and every time after that. I want you to be mine Y/N Y/L/N?" He pulled out a rose and waited for my answer.

"Um Sirius... I.." I looked toward my friends to see if they could help me, but they just stared at me, waiting for my answer as well. I sighed. "Sure Sirius, that would be great."

"Okay thank Merlin. I was starting to think that you'd say no. Now.. can I kiss you?"

I blushed. "Yes."

He leaned in and connected our lips in a sweet kiss.
