I saw this song on one of my friends story and so I had to listen to it (obviously, it brings back memories for me) and so here I am my friends.   I'll eventually have more to post but I'm slow bc school started and stuff, but I promise, I'll update more sooner or later.

"It's a quarter after one, I'm all alone, and I need you now.."  The music blasted through my speaker late in the evening.  My dorm mates were asleep in their respective beds, and I was laying down trying not to think about him.  Draco.  We've had this thing going on between us. 

We started out as friends, after we met in Potions and hit it off immediately.  Soon enough, we started flirting, casually making jokes about our future together, touching each other (whether it was innocent, like a shoulder pat, or not so innocent, like pinching each other's asses).  Today, he came up behind me while I was stirring my potion and wrapped his arms around my waist, while whispering stupid things in my ear, which just made me more confused on how he truly feels about me. 

And clearly, I failed at not thinking about him.  "Y/N, if you don't turn that damn music off I'll cut up your favourite sweatshirt, I swear to Jesus Christ."  My dorm mate Alex said to me as they open the curtain around my bed. 

"Okay, okay, geez.  No need to threaten my only source of happiness, Jesus."  I turned off my speaker and plugged my headphones into my phone. 

"Nuh-uh.  Gimme."  They gestured towards my phone.   "Now.  I'm not letting you sulk around or any of that shit.  Just go to sleep, you'll feel better." 

"Fine. Don't lock me out of my phone though."  I said, reluctantly handing them my phone.  "And yeah, yeah, I'm gonna go to sleep.  I see that look." 

"Okay.   Goodnight." They said after they eyed me carefully.  Then they closed my curtain and walked back to their bed. 

After what felt like hours, I finally fell asleep, thinking about Draco and I in the future.

Time skip~

"Y/N!" Draco called to me as I started to walk out of the Potions classroom. I kept on walking, but he ran up to me and pulled my back into his chest.

"Do you need something?" I asked.

"What's with the attitude, Princess?"

"Don't even, you fucking child." I said, wriggling out of his arms.

"Seriously, Y/N, what the fuck is up with you. I get that you might be going through something, or might just be in a mood right now, but fucking talk to me. It is my duty as your friend to help you through this." Draco said, pulling me to him again.

"No Draco, that would be the 'duty' of my lover. Your 'duty' is to ask me if I'm okay, or ask me what's wrong, and my 'duty' is to say I'm fine or nothing's wrong. That's how friendships work." I replied angrily, walking away from him.

"Well then, Y/N, maybe I care about you a little more than a friend should." He huffed, and grabbed my wrist, dragging me towards him again. "Listen... I love you, Y/N. Just.. come with me, okay? Trust me." He laced his fingers in mine and dragged me to his dorm.

"I was kind of watching you from afar until we were paired together by Snape. Then we were friends, and, at the time, I was fine with just being your friend. I loved you as just a friend for a while. And then I started to look at you more carefully. Your smile, your laugh, your eyes, your body," He winked. "Everything. Even down to the way you pronounced things differently, and the way you waved at your friends from across a room. I started to realize that I was actually falling in love with you. And that was a while ago, Y/N. I'm in too deep, there's no escape for me now. I love you too much.." He looked in my eyes, then away from me, seemingly loosing his confidence. "How, um.. how do you feel about me? This is the question that has been bugging me the most. How do you truly feel about me?"

"Draco I.." I looked down at our hands that were still together and smiled. I pulled him into a hug, pulling him as close to me as possible. "I love you too." I whispered.

"Oh thank god. You don't know how relieved that makes me." I felt him smile into my shoulder.

When he pulled away, he dragged me to his bed with him, and pulled me on top of him. For hours after that, we were just laying down together, cuddling, and kissing. After dinner, we went back to his dorm to spend the night together, so we could continue cuddling and just enjoying each other's company, finally glad that we didn't have to worry about going to bed alone.

YO WHATS UP GUYS. IT TOOK ME AN ENTIRE WEEK TO WRITE THIS AND I DONT KNOW WHY BECAUSE ITS NOT REALLY COMPLICATED OR ANYTHING BUT HERE WE ARE. (I don't know if you could tell but in the last three hours I have drunk two coffee and a soda, AND I'm with a friend, which is making me even more energetic.)

I promise I have like two or three chapters I'm working on but I've also been getting a lot of homework from my stupid teachers so... those updates will come eventually.
