Scars(Remus Lupin)

I got this idea from something I saw on Pinterest, so here you go!

"Have you seen Remus' scars up close? I was partnered up with him in Potions class, and I got a real good look at him. They make him look so fucking ugly, it makes me want to laugh every time I see him." I was walking down hallway with my best friends when I heard someone behind me saying this.

"Y/N, did you hear that?" My best friend asked me. Remus and I have been dating since 1st year, so for 4 years.

"Yes I did. I really wish I didn't." I turned my head back a little to see who was saying that. It was some 5th year Ravenclaw guy. "He's probably just jealous. Do you think I should tell Remy?" I looked at my best friend with worry in my eyes.

"I don't think you should, but since I know you, I know you will." (S)he sighed. "You know how great of a guy he is, please tell him gently."

"Oh you know I will." I rolled my eyes, walking to my last class of the day. I decided I would tell him before bed tonight.

The class went by quickly, and soon enough, it was time for dinner. When I entered the Great Hall, I went straight to where Remus was sitting. I sat down beside him and pulled him in for a big hug.

He hugged back, then pulled away and chuckled. "Okay... you are either really happy, or something is bothering you. Which one is it today?" He asked me with a smile that disappeared when he saw my facial expression. "What's wrong?" He asked with concern lacing his voice.

"Nothing, I'm just tired is all." I smiled at him, but felt bad as soon as I remembered what I heard earlier. I saw his face and continued, "Really Remy, I'm fine." I leaned in and kissed his lips slowly. He kissed back, then pulled away a second later.

"No, I don't want to kiss you until I know what's wrong? Will you tell me later, when less people are around?" I sighed.

"Of course Remy."

"Just look at the happy couple whispering over there. I think I know what they're whispering about, too! Please be quiet late-"

I cut him off. "No James, Jesus Christ. We wouldn't fuck while there are other people around." I looked over at Remus's red face and laughed, kissing him on the cheek. "Just kidding Remy." He smiled at my already smiling face.

We ate the meal in peace, and chatted about different things. I kept getting happy that Remus was feeling comfortable, then sad when I remembered earlier.  He always noticed and got a worried expression, but it went away when I smiled at him.  After the meal, we walked back to his dorm, and got ready for bed. The other boys were still out, doing heaven knows what. 

As soon as I was ready for bed, I climbed into his bed and waited for him. Not even a minute later, he climbed in next to me. "Will you tell me now Y/N?"

"Of course Remy. Please don't get mad at me. I just don't want to keep this a secret because I know it will kill me if I don't tell you."  I looked at him with sad, pleading eyes. "Please, please don't get mad or sad, because it was just some stupid classmate."

"Y/N, you're scaring me. What's happened? You didn't-" he choked on his words. "You didn't cheated on me, right? Did someone hurt you? You can just tell me."

"No no, nothing like that. I love you Remy, more than anything. I would never cheat on you, ever. And no one hurt me, but they hurt you..... umm.. some 5th year Ravenclaw was umm.. making fun of your scars..." I looked In his eyes, and they held no emotion.

"Oh. If that's all, it's not a big deal. It's not like that's never happened before." 

"Excuse me for interrupting, but who was it?" Sirius interrupted us. "I'd just like to chat with him.

"Jesus. How much did you hear?" I asked, looking past him to see an angry James, and emotionless Peter.

"Enough. Did you do anything to him yet? Oh when I get ahold of him..." Sirius went on, but I ignored him.

"No, I haven't done anything yet. Remus and I discuss these things on our own to figure out a punishment. That's what we were going to do tonight. And you guys will do nothing about it. At least not until I do. Understand?"  They all know that when I get serious, I mean business. They know not to mess with me when I get mad.

"Okay, geez Y/N. We get it," James stated, rolling his eyes.

I turned over to Remus, so that we could continue our conversation.  He kept telling me that he didn't care, and that I shouldn't do anything about it, but I saw in his eyes how hurt he really felt. I kept asking him what he would be okay with me doing to the guy, but he just kept telling me to do nothing.

"Okay, I get it Remy. You don't want me to do anything, and you keep telling me that you don't care, even though I know you do. What do you think would be an appropriate thing for me to do. You know I'm going to do something, whether you say I should or not."

"Okay fine Y/N, I don't care what you do anymore. Can we just go to bed?" He whined, hiding his head in my neck.

I chuckled. "G'nite Remus. I love you." I mumbled into his hair, kissing it afterward. He leaned up and placed a gentle kiss on my lips, laying down to sleep after.

I'm sorry this sucked guys, I could have done a lot better, but I haven't published in almost a week, sorry.  Also, 1000 fucking reads??? I'm just..... why... how?? I remember how happy I got when I had 10 reads... then 100.. but now 1000? When did it even get this popular?

I'm just shook because all of you amazing readers are reading this. I could tell you all a bunch of actually good Harry Potter one shots, but you're still reading these?

I hope this was okay, and I'll try to be updating more, I'll just have to get more ideas.

A really great book to read is 'What we found in the sofa, and how it changed the world'. Now I know that is a totally weird title, but I always enjoy the book when I read it. It's about these 3 kids who end up saving the world with a crayon, an artificially intelligent domino, and a cat named Mucus. 

Also, if you ever need any young adult books suggestions, or want any book suggestions at all, I can give you a bunch.
