"Yeah, I'll see you later B/F/N!" I called to her, walking toward the library.

"Have fun studying!" (S)he called back.

The library is my favourite place to study, but I don't feel like studying right now. My friends know I have depression, and they always help me when I show them my bad days. Most of the time, I will end up hiding in the kitchen, talking to the House Elves, whom I love very much. That's where I'm actually going right now.

Once I got there, my attitude completely changed. I walked over to my corner in the room and started bawling. One of the house elves, Winky, walked over to me, and sat down beside me. Winky isn't a particularly social elf like the rest are, and with anybody else in the room, she will keep to herself. For some reason, she doesn't do that with me.

"Hello Miss/Mister Y/L/N. Would you like to talk?" She asked me.

After another few minutes of crying with her beside me, I turned to her. She was waiting patiently like she always does, waiting for me to stop crying. "It's my (dad, mom, grandmother, etc.) again, Winky. And a few of the students here who treat me and others like we don't belong. I'm not sure how much longer I can handle trying to hide this from people. I can't try to be strong forever."

"Well then Miss/Mister, don't try to be strong. Just be strong. You are beautiful/handsome. You do belong, and anyone who says differently doesn't. And your (dad, mom, grandmother, etc) can't harm you while you're here, and you need to be remember that." She said to me, which made me cry even more. She looked at me, tears filling her giant eyes. "Did I say something wrong?"

"No, Winky, no you didn't. No ones ever said something that nice to me before. Thank you so much." I pulled her into a hug, and she hugged me back.

More tears spilled from my eyes, and I tried to stop them before the voices that I heard coming got here. Right outside the entrance to the kitchen, I heard Harry Potter and Ron Weasley's voices. They were coming closer to here, and soon enough, they were in here. I didn't move, hoping that they wouldn't notice me.

"Hello Mister Potter, Mr. Weasley." Dobby called our to the two entering the kitchen. He quickly glanced at me with worried eyes, then back to the boys.

Winky moves so that she was in front of me, blocking their view of me, and I was very thankful. They tried to walk over to see what was happening, but Dobby stopped them. "What did you come here for, sirs?"

They stopped moving toward me, remembering what they came for. "Sorry to bother you Dobby. We just came here to get some hot chocolate." Harry said in a quiet voice. "Oh... and.. who's in the corner?"

"That's just a normal visitor... nothing of your concern." Dobby looked sadly into my eyes, his tearing up quickly. When the boys turned to face me, Winky moved to cover me more.

Not even 5 seconds later, a few house elves brought them cups of hot chocolate. "See you later Mr.'s Potter and Weasley." Most house elves said, discreetly pushing them toward the door.

"No. I'm not leaving til I know who's in the corner." Ron said, pushing Harry back into the room.

I stood up quickly, wiping my eyes, and hugged Winky. After I felt her hug back, I wished her goodbye, as well as all the other elves, then walked out the door.

"Thanks you!" Ron called to the house elves, as he walked out the door with Harry. "Now's your chance to talk to them Harry! You can go comfort Y/N."

"No way! I don't know how to help upset people.  I can talk to them tomorrow, when they're not upset." Harry replied.  They were following me to the Gryffindor Common Room.

I turned around, stopping them in the middle of their conversation. "Is there something you boys need? Do you need to talk to me?" I asked, my voice cracking because I had just finished crying. "Because if not, I'd like to walk to the common room in peace."

"Umm yeah, Harry need to talk to you." Ron said, speed walking away from us. I rolled my eyes, then looked expectantly towards Harry.

"Well? What is it? I'd like to have a little alone time before dinner."

He looked into my eyes, his face turning a light shade of pink. I looked at him confusedly. "I-I... Y/N, I fancy you. I have since we got partnered in Potions at the beginning of the year."

But the end of his sentence, he had grown more confident. "H-Harry? Who told you to do that? That's not a cool prank, and I don't think it's funny!" I said loudly, walking at a fast pace away from him.

I heard him call my name, but decided not to see what he needed to say. This on top of everything else is just too much for me. I ran to the common room with tears streaming down my face, ignoring the calls of Harry, and everyone else. As soon as I got into the common room, I ran up the stairs and into the room I shared with Hermione and a few others. She asked me what was wrong, and I told her everything, like I always do.

~The next day~

I did my best to avoid Harry all day, because I knew that I would break down again if we made contact. That plan worked very well, up until dinner. He didn't talk to me when we passed each other in the hallways, even though he gave me a look that said he wanted to talk to me. In the classes we shared together (Potions And Charms), he didn't try to talk to me, but he kept giving me those looks. During dinner, he did talk to me.

"Listen, Y/N.... it wasn't a prank or a dare or anything like that. None of my friends told me to do it, and even if they did, I wouldn't have. That is just cruel. When I said that, I truly meant it. I do fancy you, and...... I hope you fancy me too?"

Right as he started his sentence, all my friends turned to look at him, but as soon as he had finished, they were all looking at me expectantly. "Harry... I don't know what to say. I still think you're just playing a very mean prank on me."

"Y/N..." He put his hand under my chin, and lifted my face so that I was facing him. "Y/N, I swear to you that I would never do that. I fancy you, and I was wondering if you'd like to go to Hogsmeade with me next weekend?"

I looked him in the eyes. "Harry... I.. sure. Sure, I'd love to go to Hogsmeade with you."

Sorry this took so long for me to post, I didn't feel inspired to write. I'm going to try to post 1 or 2 chapters every three days, but sometimes I won't be able to do that. The second part to this should be posted very soon, and I hope you enjoyed!

Hollywood Undead is a great band to listen to, if you like to listen to rock music. They recently released an EP, and my favourite song from it is 'Something to Believe.'
