Harry Potter One Shots

Lunch with the shy one (George)

I've always been a very shy person. At school, the only people I talk to are my neighbor, who is my best and only friend, and people the teachers pair me up with. I've never been one to start conversations, or to join in on them. I usually don't even talk to my best friend, but (s)he and I are still really close.

"Hey Y/N!" (S)he called to me as I walked out of the Charms classroom. We always meet up before we go to lunch. "Is it alright if we sit by Harry Potter and his friends today?"

"Umm..." I looked into her/his eyes, and they looked hopeful. I sighed, knowing there was no way I could get out of this. "Sure, if you want to."

(S)he squealed loudly. "Yay! I'm glad to know you want to as well, because we were going to go anyway."

I laughed quietly, starting to walk to the Great Hall with her/him walking beside me. When we walked in, I started toward the Y/H table, but my best friend started pulling me toward the Griffindor table. I had forgotten already.

(S)he sat down on the open side of Harry, and I sat across from her/him, next to Hermione. Ron was sitting on the other side of Harry.  The Weasley Twins walked into the Great Hall, making their way over to where we were sitting. One sat on my open side, and the other sat beside him.

"Well what do we have here? Is the shyest Hogwarts student deciding to be social today? Well hello Y/N, nice to see you."  The twin that wasn't sitting by me said.

"H-hello." I muttered, looking down at the table. The twin sitting next to me grabbed my chin and tilted it up towards him.

"Well I'm glad you are. I've really wanted to talk to you, because you're just so cute. This gives me an excuse. Oh and I'm George by the way."

"O-Okay George." I blushed, pulling my face out of his hands. My best friend looked over at me and smirked.

We ate the meal in peace, except for when he grabbed my hand and didn't let it go. I tried to pull it away, but he wouldn't let me. "George, I need my hand to eat." He looked at me and smirked.

"I think I need your hand more. Mine's cold."

"No it isn-" I got cut off by my best friend.

"Okay George, please stop flirting with my best friend. She actually needs to eat. We'll be leaving soon." I have her/him a very thankful smile.

He let go of my hand and gave her a pouty look. "Well why don't I help her eat then?"

I looked at him with big eyes and a red face, then looked at my best friend. "Actually, I'm not hungry anymore. Why don't we go now?" I got up, waiting for her/him to follow me.

"Come on Y/N, just a few more minutes?"

I sighed and sat back down. (S)he was the only reason I was sitting at this table by these people, but because (s)he was my best friend, I wasn't going to leave her/him.

George smirked at me and tried to pick my spoon up to feed me. "I told you George, I'm not hungry anymore." My face was red as a tomato.

"Okay fine then... I have something else for you to taste."  He leaned in and connected our lips.

I pulled back immediately and looked at my friend who was about to kiss Harry. I sighed. "Now I understand why you wanted to come so bad Y/bf/N. Next time, I'll just sit at our table. George, please don't try something like that again."  My friend looked at me with a confused expression.

"Listen, Y/N.... I've fancied you for years now, even ask Fred." When he heard his name, Fred looked toward me. "I couldn't figure out how to get your attention or anything like that, but I want you to know I fancy you. Will you be mine?"

I looked into his eyes. "George, that would be amazing."

I have literally no idea what this is, but I know it's really bad, don't worry. I'll try a lot harder on the next one, I've just been really depressed lately. I also really want to write one shots for The Outsiders. (The book written by S. E. Hinton.) I'm not sure if I should though, even if I really want to. What do you guys think?

Y'know, an amazing movie to watch is 'Howls Moving Castle'. It's an anime movie by Studio Ghibli and I really love it.
