I put my hands on the car's window and gasped as I saw the beautiful senario of winter.

I noticed how the snow was falling from the sky and then slowly melting as it touched the grass. It was beautiful.

"Yumna, sweetie did you put on your seat belt?" I heard mom asking.

I looked at mom and day who were sitting in the front seat, driving.

"I did put on the seat bealt, mommy," I said.

I looked at daddy and saw him driving.

I was getting impatient. We were going to Omar's house and it seamed forever for daddy to drive.

"Come one, daddy," I said. "How much  longer till we reach Omar's house?"

"Just in an hour, princess," he said, driving on the road near the mountain area.

"An hour!" I gasped. "But you said that last time too!"

"And you asked that just 5 minutes ago, baby," mommy laughed.

I pouted. "He must be waiting for me to play with him!"

"Or maybe he is doing his homework?" Mommy said. "He is a big boy after all."

"But I don't have homework! Then why do Omar have homework, mommy?" I asked.

"Because you are just in grade 5 and he is in grade 7 sweetie. He has more work than you," daddy explained.

I sighed. I was getting impatient to spend my weekend with him. Omar was my best friend and we always played together.

Daddy told me that Omar's daddy was also my daddy's friend and his mommy was my mommy's friend, so every weekend we would spend our time with Omar's family, playing with him.

I waited patiently to reach to Omar's house. From the back seat, I leaned towards the radio and pressed on the start button to turn it on and listened to it.

"Winter vacation is coming in 2 weeks, honey," mommy told daddy.

"Yes," he said as he kept driving. "I am planning to take 2 weeks off in winter vacation to spend some time with you guys. Apprently, Bilal is planning the same thing we might take a family vacation together."

I laughed. "Omar is coming too with us? In winter?"

Mommy laughed. "Yes, sweetie."

"Awesome!" I laughed.

Daddy chuckled.

"You have anything you want to do in wknter vacation, sweetie?" Mommy asked.

I thought for a while and then yelled out, "Can we for skating? Omar and me, together?"

Mommy and daddy laughed.

"Sure, sweetie . . . Shit! What the . . . !" Daddy looked horrified as he kept pressing in the break but it wasn't working.

"Honey, what's wrong?!" Mommy sounded alarmed as he looked at daddy.

Mommy seamed to realize what was happening.

In that time, I had no clue what was happening. All I was seeing was daddy and mommy panicking, trying to control the car but the car wasn't stopping. It was driving at a fast speed and then suddenly, it fell down the valley, flipping over and over.

I began to cry as I hit my head constantly with the car's window. I heard mommy and daddy screaming. Within a mommment, the car bumped onto a tree and stopped.

I sighed in relief when the car stopped. The seats were broken. The window beside me was broken and the glass pieces cut through my arms. My head hurted badly.

Mommy?

Daddy?

I took off my seat belt and as I leaned towards the front seat, all I saw was blood and wounded bodies.

I was horrified. I shaked shaked mommy's body and then daddy's body but nobody spoke.

"Mommy! Mommy! Wake up!" I sobbed as I shook mommy, but she didn't respond.

I pushed daddy. "Daddy, look, your princess is talking to you!" I cried.

But nobody responded.

I looked at my arms which were covered in blood. And the blood wasn't only my blood. It was my mommy and daddy's blood.

No!

This had to be a nightmare.

My heard hurted. I couldn't belive what I was seeing.

No!

This was not possible!

No please!

I cried in pain and began to call on daddy and mommy. I felt dizzy but I didn't stop shaking my mommy and daddy.

I sobbed. Hard. I cried for help but nobody came!

And soon I felt myslef loosing conciousness.
