"We are going to practice Act I, Scene 3 today!" Ms. Henry, our drama teacher announced.

I focused on the play and read the lines over and over again to memorize.

I needed to do good in this course so I could keep my marks high but lately that's wasn't the case. It had been a month since we got married and every time in drama class, when I would get paired with Omar, I would mess up my lines.

It was definitely making my acting worse and I just couldn't understand what so special about Omar that I always messed up my lines!

I read my lines for today's practice once more. Luckily, right now we were doing Act I, Scene 3, where in the Romeo and Juliet's play, Juliet's mother, Lady Capulet, the Nurse, Juliet and Peter were talking about how Lady Capulet wanted Juliet to get married with a man of her choice. I was playing as Juliet, Emily was playing as nurse, Anna was playing as Lady Capulet and Leo was playing as Peter. All of us were classmate in the drama class.

I was lucky that in this scene, Omar wasn't acting or else, I would mess my lines . . . Again . . .

"Alright!" Ms. Henry said. "Can I get Juliet, Lady Capulet, Nurse and Peter in front of the class to perform?" She called out using our play role names.

Emily, Anna, Leo and I went in front of the class and took our positions to perform.

"Ready! Set! Go!" Ms. Henry said. "Start from line 95"

Line 95 was Anna, Lady Capulets's, line.

Anna cleared her throat and acted like a mother and used harsh tone to say her words. "So shall you share all that he doth possess. By having him, making yourself no less."

Emily, the nurse, came in the front to say her lines. "No less?" Emily said, rolling her eyes. "Nay, bigger. Women grow by men."

Anna crossed her arms. "Speak briefly. Can you like of Paris, love?"

I sighed, acting my role as Juliet. "I’ll look to like if looking liking move. But no more deep will I endart mine eye," I said, sadly, and leaned near a wall. "Than your consent gives strength to make it fly."

Just then, Leo, acting as Peter walks in. He had a stern tone when he spoke his lines.

"Madam, the guests are come, supper served up, you called, my young lady asked for, the Nurse cursed in the pantry, and every thing in extremity. I must hence to wait. I beseech you, follow straight," he said.

Anna nodded as picked her edge of her top to act as if she was holding her gown. "We follow thee.—Juliet, the county stays," she said as she walked out.

I nodded acting as if I wasn't interested.

Emily sighed and came behind me and pushed me towards Anna to exit the scene.

"Go, girl, seek happy nights to happy days," she said her lines as she pushed  me to follow Anna.

That's where the scene ended.

The classroom clapped. Ms. Henry looked at us, proudly.

"Excellent!" She said as she went near us. "Very good guys. Keep your expressions like this and our play is going to be great."

We all smiled.

"Now, we are going to practice Act I, Scene 5," she announced.

And that's when my smile dropped.

Act I, Scene 5 was the scene when Romeo first meet Juliet in a ball. Not only that, they danced there and even ki-s-s-ed . . .

I knew we are going to have curtains down in the stage in the kissing scene so we didn't had to kiss but having Omar near to me was definitely going to make me tongue twisted.

I looked at Omar who was sitting in the audience and looking. His face was as emotionless as before.

Like, honestly!

Didn't he get nervous when he acted with me?!

I always failed to act when he was involved!

I didn't know how I was going to continue the act today.

"We have practiced this act before, but our Juliet seamed to be messing this part," she said. "So, we will practice from the part you mess up. So, the part where Omar, as Romeo, first sees you."

I didn't nod. I was too nervous.

It was just weird. A few days ago, I was still nervous but as time went by, I was getting more nervous around Omar which wasn't good.

I just couldn't think straight and it messed my brain.

"Come on guys!" Ms. Henry said as the students for the Scene came to act.

I took a deep breath and stood in my position. Let's just get over with this.
