I woke up as I felt the bright sun's rays falling on my face from the window. I opened my eyes as I flipped on the bed and looked at the ceiling.

It was early morning and I felt so fresh waking up after taking a nap after the Fajr Salah.

I turned to my side and noticed that Omar wasn't there. I sighed.

It had been a few weeks since we graduated from high school, however, Omar had been so busy in offices and with school work that he was spending more time at office and school than at home. I rarely even saw Omar now a days.

It made me upset a little but I did wanted him to do whatever made him happy.

I got off the bed and went near the window and opened the window door, feeling the fresh air blowing in. I looked down and saw the flower garden from my window. It was beautiful. I could hear the birds crippling and flying towards the flower plants.

I leaned near the window and smiled as I watched the beautiful scenario.

Suddenly, I heard a knock on the door. I walked towards the door and opened it and saw Emily.

Emily smiled as she was holding a tray with two cups of coffee and two plates of bacon and scrambled eggs.

"Good morning," she smiled.

"Good morning," I smiled at her. I looked down the breakfast and raised my eyebrows with confusion.

"Actually, mom is fasting today . . ."

"Fasting?"

She nodded and I sighed. I knew what she was talking about. Fasting in every Monday and Thursday was sunnah and mom always fasted on those days. It was sunnah so she didn't had to do it, but, mom was religious and she liked following what the last Prophet (P.B.U.H.) did. So, she did the fasting on those two days weekly. Plus, it was scientifically proven to be right thing to do as well to maintain a healthy food habit.

Emily went in the room and placed the ray on the table.

"Actually, now a days you stay alone in your room because my jerk brother is doing something stupid and dad went to office early morning so," she said as she pulled the chair near the table. "I thought of having breakfast with you."

I nodded as I went to her. "Let me brush my teeth and then we will have breakfast together."

She nodded.

Suddenly, we heard another knock on the door.

We turned around and saw a butler holding a bouquet of red roses.

"Ma'am, this is for you," he said holding the flowers. "Mr. Omar Chatti send this for you. He handpicked all these flowers by himself from the garden."

I looked at the butler confusingly. I noticed Emily grinning like an idiot. I sighed and went to the butler and took the roses. The butler went away as I walked towards the table holding the roses.

It was strange.

Omar had so many staffs then why did he picked the roses by himself?

Emily took the bouquet from me and I looked at her as she counted the flowers.

"Wow! There is exactly 24 red roses!" Emily said, excitedly.

I looked at her in confusion. "So?"

"So? Yumna, 24 red roses means that Omar is always thinking of you!" She laughed. "It can't be 23 or 25 roses or like yellow roses. It have to be 24 red roses. It is like a special number."

I did not know what to say. I felt my cheeks turning red a little. It made me feel a little happy that even though he was so busy, he went out to the garden in the morning to pick the flowers by himself.

Emily smirked and laughed. "I didn't know Omar is this romantic," she smirked.

I rolled my eyes at her as she laughed. She looked at the side of the roses and found a small envelop attach to it.

A letter?

I bend down and try to take the letter but Emily snatched it from me.

"Let me see what did my dear brother wrote for his wife," she laughed as she took the letter out of the envelope.

I sighed. There was no point to snatch the letter from her even. She was going to snatch it back and she was going to read it anyway.

"Dear wifey," Emily read from the letter. "I have personally picked the red roses as a token of apologies for not being able to spend some time with you. I just want you know that I really miss having you all the time with me and then at night . . . I miss holding you in my arms-"

"That's it!" I yelled in embarrassment as I tried to snatch the letter from her.

She laughed as she held the letters high up on her hands. "I miss every moments with you. I know it's my fault and I really want to makeup for it," she read as I stood on my tip toe to snatch the letter from her. But she was still taller than me.

Stupid Chatti genes!

"So, today in the evening, I want to take you out in a date in a private beach that we own. It is an hour and half from our home and I have already instructed one of my stuff to drive you there so please be ready by night 8:00 pm," she read and then jumped in excitement. "OMG! A DATE!"

I jumped along with her and then snatched the letter from her hand. I noticed her still jumping on the bed and then to the sofa as I read the rest of the letter.

My heart raced as I read the rest of the letter. I smiled.

Alright, Mr. Hotshot. I am looking for the date then.
