"Without time, there is no beginning. So there was nothing before 'the word.'"

Everyone groans. This is gonna be so boring..

Atlus stops his story. "What?"

"'In the beginning was the word?' If you bring out a guitar, I'm done." Kaikaina complains.

"The word became complicated, expanded, unfolded and birthed the first of the primal forces of our father, Chrovos." The god continued. "He who could control time."

Grif groans. "Do we really need all of this?"

"Chrovos set himself on a great undertaking, a project of galactic proportions. He created the Cosmic Powers and enslaved us to do his bidding."

"What project could possibly be so big?" Simmons mutters.

"Some things are beyond even our infinite wisdom. We only know our small part in the grand design."

"So, Where are the titans now?" Carolina asks.

"We rebelled against our masters, many were lost but the titans were deposed. Killed, banished or imprisoned." Atlus answers.

"I constructed a labyrinth inside this black hole." Burnstorm says. "At its core, sits a prison: a treadmil."

"I convinced Chrovos to give it a spin, he got stuck!" Genkins adds gleefully.

"Whoa Whoa, he's walking forwards forever, but in one spot?" Grif says in disbelief.

"Exactly." Altus confirms.

"Alright Satan."

"Alright let me get this straight," Sarge looks at each god. "You dirty so-and-so's are responsible for upsetting the balance of power in the entire universe?"

"Yes," Atlus says. "But Chrovos was-"

"I'm not talking about that! Why's Grif got a sword?"

Grif looks at Sarge. "Because I'm so-"  He activates his sword. "Cleaver!"

"Give me one." Sarge demands.

'Here we go again." I hear Kaikaina mutter.

The god sighs. "Who else wants one?"

Washington, Sister, Sarge, Simmons, Lopez and Donut all started chanting that they wanted a sword. Me, I already have a 1000°F stick so I really don't need it.

Atlus grants swords to everyone who wanted one, resembling Grif's except for Donut who's sword is dark green for some reason.

"Gracias (Thank You)." Lopez says.

"I'm actually proud of you Caboose." Carolina praises the blue trooper.

I hold a finger up. "Wait for it.."

Caboose looks at Genkins, mainly his Golf Club. "I want that Golf Club."

"Ah yep, there it is." I laugh.
